You have hit all the major points why many bikers love the GS. Many GS haters do so because the bike is so popular and seems like everyone has a GS. I do love my GS also with lowered suspension as I am 171 cm. I can highly recommend Daytona( forgot the model name) boots that have a 6 cm lift. I can really flatfoot my bike now. So is this with the new one lowered suspension that adapts high to low or just lowered from the manufacturer/? Just asking in order know how to order , I am 173cm , thanks
@@pegasos7578 there is the factory lowered suspension which you can order, and you can also set the suspension to minimal (lowers even further!), maximal ( not optimal for short riders) and automatic. Seat setting can also be adjusted to high and low.
when u say low suspension it means u gonna electronically adjust the suspension to the lowest setting? or a GS with different mechanical low suspension?
Being 165 cm i 2 have the same issues, i do love a GS for the low suspension model is just as good an capable as a standard height, its still amazing how many people dont know that BMW offer this on there bikes, low suspension plus low seat = both feet on the ground
You seem like a sporty rider on the lowered bike did you have an ground clearance problems? With anything touching when going fast and leaning in corners?
I am a BMW (R100GS) driver and I agree it is the best bike on street. But what about handling in the city stop and go, parking, handling in small spaces, in the garage, or in steep areas the typical small villages in Graubünden ? I am 184cm, but I dont dare to go with a 1200GS
