Doesn't matter what people think...it's your bike and an expression of your life! And got to keep the young man safe 🙏. If I were doing one I think I would halve the height of it...but good job 👏
Great idea and nice job, Phaedrus. Though, Phaedrus rode Honda Superhawk, I think your Scrambler will do the job. Wishing you my best for an ample Chautauqua nights under the stars with your son. I ride Urban G/S (pretty much same as the Scrambler. My son just turned 11 and you might already know, Chris, Phaedrus son, was 11 in the book when he rode all the way to SF. I am planning a big trip with my son on my Urban G/S. There is a big problem: high mufflers don't give much options for any panniers. Any suggestions? Btw, I also made a small and less sophisticated sissy bar using rear rack for my kiddo. Cheers!
Hey, thanks for watching the video. The sissy bar was custom, but I included the fabricator's information in the description. I'm sure if you reach out to him, he can duplicate for you what he did for me. I hope that helps. Or you can grab some screenshots from this video and show them to your local fabricator. Unfortunately, I already threw away my sketches. Thank you.
Maybe after I swap my battery, check the valve clearances, change the spark plugs, change the brake fluid, and check the spoke tension. Then I'll have the time to even think about selling them. lol. This bike keeps me pretty busy already.
