no understanding of previous models in their lineup to know about the R1100S for comparison and to explain the significant changes to the 1200 version.
owned a R1200S for 20 years, great bike but no bestseller, because for a"Super-Bike" not enough power and not comfortable enough for many BMW clients....
@@tomthompson7400 sorry, typo kind of. i have owned a R1100S and R1200S from 1999 to 2019...so 2 "S" models for together 20 years....one 10 years and the other one 10 years...
@@sebastianm.8383 yep I went 1100s to 1200s too ,, but added a gs 1200 as well , I maybe would have bought a 1200st if I only had one bike ,,, a may add an st anyways ,, I just like the looks of the 1200s.
@@tomthompson7400 Heated grips, especially BMW's, are awesome. It's like always holding two Bratwursts in your hands, such a German experience! (Love my 2006 R1200S and my 2005 K1200S, both with the Bratwursts! 😅)
