Hello again@@JHAMS-007-car-repair , do I need to disconnect any coolant hoses to remove the Starter? It's unbolted, loose and disconnected from leads but there doesn't seem to be enough space to wriggle it out...TIA
My M47 engine keeps same sounds and is only hard to start when engine is hot, but with cold engine turns normally on. i have changed Throttle, MAF sensor, Crankshaft sensor only faulty codes left is glowplugs in each cylinder but i dont think changing those helps at all.
You can have the same problem, when warm due to the expansion the bendix can slip, replace it is not too expensive, about 50 euros, the labor for replacement differs from service to service.
