BMW Service - K100 Fuel Filter 

The filter is in stock at Beemer Boneyard (at a greatly reduced price compared to BMW!!). If that doesn't cure your problem look at your plug wires. I have never seen K bike coils fail. Keep us posted please. Thanks, Chris

I got the filter in, old one was 7/12/96! Yeah that robbed a few ponies......I also did a spline lube with guard dog moly (mid an rear) seems the never seaze I used last year on the splines finally dried up,lol.. ( I had nothing else the time). Bikes running strong now....thatnks Chris.

Thanks, I need too replace them.....they are oem's, and like I said I have no idea on the filter. It ran better when the humidity dropped btw. Wish I lived closer, I could use a bmw /beer/good time mechanic. lol.

Where are you? It does sound like you need to replace the fuel filter. Higher humidity can make the engine less responsive especially when starving for fuel. I might have a set of K bike coils around here somewhere.

Chris, My k bike, has a a couple years on her and the filter was part of a tank swap. When should they be changed? The bike doesn't pull as it did. I'm thinking fuel but I also noticed a cracked coil.. Can You lead me to a new fuel filter and possibly a set of coils? beemer bone was out of stock. Thanks. (we spoke before , btw)

Chris are you saying run my 85 K75C without any fuel filter in the tank or just do not use a charcoal filter? Also do you have video on K75C water pump seal replacement? Great videos. thanks Nigel

Oh I have about 1,000 miles that I put on....it has 35 k on the clock.

Hello,sorry for taking up your time butyou are my last hope whit my k100rs,if you have any idea whats going on whit my bike please let me know. Let me describe the situation Bike was runing fine since last monday,when I took her out for a longer ride.The bike is being used dayly.So after I left home,done 5-6 miles the engine was loseing power in low speed and low rev,higher gears 4-5 and speed above 35 miles/h is just fine,doing 120 whit no problems but when I slow down to 20 miles or stop at a red light it needs 5000 rev to start moveing and after that suddenly just goes like a mental freak. So I changed fuel presure regulator,all the fuel hoses,air filter,fuel filter,injectors and spark plugs and nothing changed same thing. When is in neutral the speedo bounce between 0 and 30 ang the acceleration between 1000 and 3000,whitout even toutching it. Please give me an advice what to do. The next thing will be a liter of fuel all ower it and a nice barbeque in the end :) Thanks in advance for any help. Gregory
