As someone else said THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT WAY TO TOW A BMW!!!! THOSE THINGS HE REMOVED ARE FOR JACKING THE VEHICLE/ NOT WINCHING THE VEHICLE!!!! DO IT THE RIGHT WAY OR NOT AT ALL…..

What’s the right way? Crazy to think those jacking points are good for the complete weight of the vehicle but not for winching?!

Most BMW Don't Have Lower Control Arm, Must Use Straps , Per'BMW' ' the Blocks He Removed Are For Jacking , Some Holes Distor Blocks Won' t Hold .

I haven’t had a hole that hasn’t worked out. If it’s strong enough to lift the vehicle from then it’s strong enough to get it on the truck

So what you’re saying is to winch it from the aluminum control arm! So that jacking point is strong enough to hold the weight of the vehicle but not winch from?! Please stop giving people false information. The way Cesar did it is the correct way!

I use the j hooks around the arm with some skates and the rest is history

how long you been towing ? Takes me about 3 minutes to get it up and another 5 mins to tie down … NO KEYS . NO NEUTRAL . PARKING BREAK ON . im not better than anyone but my trick is …. AXLE STRAPS AROUND THE FRONT RIMS TO J HOOKS TO WINCH 😏😏😏😏😏

I'm new to towing... Why axle straps to front rims? Do u pull on them as well?

Whatever works for you. I’ve been towing for 24 years. When I make my videos I don’t rush cause there are people that are watching to learn so I don’t rush.

@@fitz7670 probably easier but I definitely don’t recommend doing it that way. The front wheels have steering components and you’re not doing a straight pull. The straps will put an inward pressure on the wheels and you can put the vehicle out of alignment if the vehicles steering components are old and worn. You’re better off using an axle bridle around the front control arms.

That’s a good way to bend a control arm . They aren’t very strong on these cars. The way Cesar did it is the correct way. Just because your method is faster doesn’t mean it’s the correct way. The way you started your reply you were already implying on the fact that you’re better. Let’s see your method make a RU-vid video and show us how it’s done?

Is the lower control arms broken or something? Why go through all that work for nothing.

The lower control arms were fine. When I have keys to the vehicle, I can use the axle straps to the control arms because I’m able to turn the wheel and have better access instead of having to lay on the ground trying to get the axle strap around the control alarm With the front of the vehicle being that low
