That is perfect. Please do more DIY videos. Have this 2011-2017 BMW X3 F25 xDrive28i as project car and do all necessary and preventative maintenance for us. Much appreciated.
I would also like to see more videos on DIY jobs on BMW F25 as I have a 2011 30d with 247,000 km/150 k miles on the clock. (I have changed the oil in the front and rear differential, but I used Liqui Moly oil! After all I drive quite cosiously, and my driving licence only allows a total gross weight of 3,500 kg that means a trailer of about 1,100 kg.)
Well done, nice job!. Suggestion, thanks for telling us the torque, many forget. 60 N.m but don't forget to also mention it in Foot pounds, 44.25 ft lb . This is America, and Americans primarily use English measurements. Shows respect for our nation. Thank you.
@@samdzanic3971 Right, BMW just went for a different fluid for better fuel economy. Grab the Valvoline pouch and it will make it easier as you can just squeeze it in
I have a f97 and manual says if oil came out from the fill plug diff is over filled. The front diff capacity is 450ml. I did put oil in until it dripping out from the fill hole and took about 600 mill Is this ok?
The plugs have a built-in O-ring that are typically one-time use. While the fill plug is not as critical, it is cheap insurance to ensure there are no leaks, especially once the fluid is up to temp, splashing around the diff casing.
