I understand what you said Because even the car have a problem on transmission it may drive slow But not moving at all Put it to gear rpm doesn’t seem like it droop at all.
This is for if the car doesn’t move into gear from park outside would be a neutral safety switch maybe. inside would be range sensor next to the valve body or Medtronics whatever

I have a 2007 jaguar XJ8 when I put it to reverse nothing put it to drive nothing Even I put the car up the lift put it in drive wheel not spin at all Maybe I have the same problem

Hi, I have a 2009 bmw x3 and while at drive through it just wouldn’t go into drive again or anything. It was sudden and it was as if it was not even registering when you went through the gears. Then I saw this and had a friend replace this part. It was broke and he replaced sselonoids amd seals at same time. ( I don’t understand car talk at all btw!!). So the. He put transmission fluid back in and I was running through each gear and then he’d check if it overflowed or something .. I feel a jolt when I go through the gears but it’s very shuttle and hard to know. It honestly doesn’t feel like it’s engaging still! What else can it be? What do I do?
Yo tengo un bmw 530i 2004, creo que tiene un liqueo por el sunroof so cuando llueve maneja lo mas bien pero cuando lo pongo en reverse a veces no la coge. So lo pongo en parking lo apago. Vuelvo y sin prenderlo pongo en switch on como por 2 minutos despues lo prendo y todo bien con la reversa. Pero siempre me pasa cuando llueve, pienso que se le esta mojando algo o alguna computer!!! Please demen su opinion.
2011- 323i. The transmission stopped working. I pulled up at a traffic light and when the light changed I tried to accelerate and the car would not move. Just before this happened I heard a pop and thought a tire had burst. The car will not go forward or reverse. Had to get the car towed. No warning lights or engine codes and the car was running fine up to the stop light. Any ideas of what the problem could be ?
I have a 2005 BMW X3 3.0 Automatic same model would I have the same transmission? Also, did this X3 you repaired show that the gears were changing on the dash and the car felt like it was going in and out of gears?

Hi, Frank. I have an '08 X3 that has been shifting improperly. When driving it, it will hesitate and "jump" or brake itself when in low gears, but once it reaches high gears it works fine. Sometimes when it "brakes" itself, the 4x4 light turns on and off quickly, but it does not have any transmission codes. It feels like it doesn't know what gear it needs to go into and slows itself drastically to the point of almost a stop when driving off a stop. Do you have any idea of what it might be?
@@frankguerrero3444My BMW X3 drives a little forward then locks and makes a sound like metals clicking what can it be..my gears didn't shift correctly then the pressure while driving broke my flecha homosinetica i put a new one but still doesn't move to much just like a spin..then some wheels don't turn at all and the ((P))∆ turns on and blinks then turns off what can I do
@@frankguerrero3444 okay i will check that before anything happened to my truck when it shifted to second third and forth gear it would jump and kick back before finally setting properly in each gear..i decided to drive out of town and on a speed bump my X3 stopped moving then i put it in manual sport mode and the flecha homosinetica broke from the force
Hey frank! Samething happen to my bmw 2007 x3 yesterday it was driving very good I put in reverse and no move put in drive and no move too and i have a bunch of codes related to transmission , do you think this could be my problem?? Please need your help.
