I bought this car because of this review. Just added the front splitter , rear defuser. M sport f15 and it’s a beauty. Best car I have ever owned. It’s huge than it looks on video
2012 X5 for me absolutely love it ,200,190 kms and purring along just great these are by far the nicest models especially today ...nothing matches the E70 period.Ohh and never diesel yuck!
The moment i bought at 59k km mileage. Petrol. Although it gives me alot of trouble and expensive repair but when its normal. Absolutely fun to drive. So i compromised.
I have upgraded from e70 to the f15. And I have to say I am happy. My f15 is on the same in the video with 21 inch wheel. They tyres are wider and front is 285 30 and rear is massive 325 30. As the f15 is bigger and wider than the e70, those 325 tyre looks thinner from the back. Fuel usage is about the same around 9.1/100 and I travel between highway and street.
E70 still looks better personally for me ( although i have moved on to X6 now ), i still love the feel of E70 somehow. also 35,000 KM is literally nothing for a car like BMW, even 150k KM will still feels good to drive.
everynameistaken567 I'm going to strongly agree with you statement. As a 2012 E70 owner if I look to upgrade from the i6 premium I'll go to the 4.4 v8 of the 50i or M but stay in the E70 just because I love the beautiful style of it 👍🏻
The modern residences are part of the 'Main Drive' project in Kew - a suburb of Melbourne. The grounds were redeveloped from an old psychiatric hospital - Willsmere.
Im from East central Vic, so I have heard of Kew, expensive from what I hear. Thanks for the info. So, if I ever No, when i win the lottery I will have to check out Kew then :D does the chosen review location represent who you (CarAdvice) think would be the target market for whichever car you are reviewing?
MaZEEZaM - we chose the location mainly because it is quiet there during the day so we can film without too many interruptions :) But that said, it is fair to say we saw a number of X5s and comparable cars parked in driveways. Glad you enjoyed the clip!
I got 12.5L per 100k in my E70 30D. How on earth did he get such low consumption? Did he have the engine off 35% of the time while rowing the car around with his centre leg?
Calvin Chang I'd say the figures quoted are the manufacturer claims, not what he has actually achieved. I'd be surprised if he averaged 7.4 litres/100km over the 3 year period of ownership.
6.2 L is just a lie. I own a 3.0d x3 that is o er 300kg ligter and with 235 tires. I get by driving on the autobahn 110 gps 6.2l and at 140gps around 8-8.2l. This x5 needs at 140gps at least 11L. Recently i drove the new 5 series 520d xdrive estate at i used 1-1.5 l less in economy mode than my car with 100hp more. At 4.33 we can see the avarage... 12L
I have e70 diesel 2012 at 130,000km it’s running 12L/100km. After I had it software deleted 2.0 jr, I’m getting 9.5-10L/ 100km. This guy in the review is lying...
@@WrenchMonkey88 Thats sounds great after the software stuff. i also use 2 stroke oil with jaso fc specifiaction to avoid ash deposits in the dpf. and egr deactivated btw.
F15, without the M kit, just looks a little cheaper or less cool somehow. It appears to be an excellent upgrade in every way, but I think the lower roof line makes it look a little more like a station wagon.
@@mobst4r1 He's not lying. Assuming the E70 he's referring to is the LCI with the M styling packages. That's what I have, along with 21" powder-coated black rims. My dad has an F15. While the front lights look more modern, the F15 in general looks a bit more "tame" than I'd like. The only things I'd steal from the F15 would be the 360 camera that shows in front of the car, which the E70 sadly lacks, the magnificent adaptive LED headlights, and the new high resolution display. This is what mine looks like, except my rims are better: cdn04.carsforsale.com/3/1016808/31114696/1418147006.jpg
