There might not be mud tires to fit the wheel well clearance on that BMW. ...I agree that in these conditions, the BMW didn't stand a chance. That said, the Samurai could climb and dig on a considerably more steep or slippery slope than the overpriced luxury ride, if that's what one desires. I have a Samurai. ...and a 4x4 Tacoma. Not a BMW X5, and I could have bought one before I retired. Where I live, I don't need the BMW or anything like it. I'd drive a Pinzgauer if things were more severe. I specifically moved to where it's sometimes difficult, but always beautiful.
@@petset77 ,Man I got too Samurai, Its a little off roading Beast, I earlier kept couple of Mitsubishi pajero's , My Samurai is ex army vehicle, Still in Army green. Its a capable off roader , Only problem is it bounce alot.

Samurai fata de X5 are, alte rapoarte ale transmisiei, punte rigida , reductor, unghiuri de atac, fuga si rampa mult mai bune, constructie body on frame, si poti monta foarte usor diferentiale. E ca si cum ai compara pantofi de la costum cu ghetele de alpinist !
Weight and tires....I've seen samurais leave Ford f250 and 350s in the dirt while going over dunes in the Kalahari. Also saw a VW beetle leave a Landrover Defender stuck in deep sand.

No necesariamente, los todoterreno por eso son todoterreno, aunque su principal fuerte sea este tipo de terrenos , su desempeño y duración es muchísimo mejor , mencionó desempeño porue tienden a necesitar mucho menos mantenimiento

Las gomas es la clave bmw neumáticos de asfalto no agarra en esta prueba es una tonteria intentarlo la del otro son para el terreno son de tacos la prueba se deveria de hacer ambos con neumáticos de tierra con tacos si no por muy buena que sea la tracción si los neumáticos no agarran no te valdra de nada
Para campo mejor el samurai, mas simple y menos electronica , pero hay la diferencia y muy grande esta en los neumáticos el x5 los tiene para carretera cuando el samurai los tienede canpo , que hagan la prueva al contrario!

El taco vale si toca algo duro debajo, sino como sino lo llevases. Ahí lo que necesitas es traccionar y para ello con bajar presión basta. Un samurai si taco pasa con bajarle la presión a la rueda, igual que un pathfinder. El BMW con el perfil bajo que tiene de llanta no
Eso mismo comente yo la prueba se esta haciendo con unos neumáticos de asfalto que es lo que calza el bmw y otro de tacos la diferencia es abismal para esta prueba

Not a good comparison 👎 They are both very capable vehicles but within their limits, The BMW is an “all wheel drive” vehicle in this video appears to have street tires, The Samurai on the other hand is a 4x4 with Low gear option AND off-road tires, I don’t know what this guy is trying to prove ?

Ce aveți mă sunteți cu capul , nu vedeți diferența de cauciucuri. Echipați BMW-UL corespunzător cu , cauciucuri de teren și atunci veniți cu o nouă filmare ok.
