BMW X5 vs X6 | What's The Difference? 

Please note that we filmed this video many many weeks ago, before current social distancing guidelines were put into place. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! I am working on finding new content to film and bring to the channel. So would you rather have the X5 or X6?

X5 is a family car and an X6 is a sporty badass car.

do you suggest to waiting for next bmw x6 or take this one? you have any news about what there will be next x6? at the end, do you suggest today the adative m suspention or take the 2 axe air suspention? i don't want that the car will be too hard when sport mode but also soft in comfort. thank you eddie

Extremely beautiful cars guys, I hope you both enjoy your Ultimate driving machines. M50 i - doesn't have the S63 engine, it has the N63 motor. Of course the S is the M series motor. I wouldn't buy any BMW without the Sports Package. It has the nicer seats, the suspension is M series and a few other things. I would buy either one of these models, they fit my mojo. The ZF transmission is extremely good and found in BMWs. it has life time transmission oil. Why don't they have dipsticks? because German engineering is smart. When ever you take a dip stick out of other cars, you risk dirt entering places it shouldn't be. Air filter - never take your air filter out unless you plan to change it. Never use air to clean your air filter you will damage it. Dust around the air filter when removing it can fall into the area dirt doesn't belong so make sure you clean the area after you remove to replace your air filter.

In all likelihood people purchase the X6 because its the car they want (hence the styling) versus those who purchase the X5 because they need it (hence the extra cargo room). At 6'2" I do not find any headspace problem sitting in the rear. Their is still plenty of cargo space in the X6, that makes worth having the better styling. Where was the cargo cover for the X5?

I understand the x6.. if you want an SUV get the x5 with more cargo space. If you want something sporty just get a regular car/coupe!

Regarding the reclining rear seats; You need to have the 7-Seat option on the X5 for them to recline.

There is no difference between an m50i and 50i x5 at least for the European spec BMW models. Is there any with the US spec ones?

The M badge is acceptable because it has the factory M package. I have it on my 22 X6 but on the fender vents similar to the M version. That's also how the European models are delivered. What I think is cheesey is when folks have a base model and stick an M badge on it. That's just fakers tryn'a be players!

I Think that Bmw x5 is a family car, like it is bigger compared to bmw x6, also its sits are more comfortable and are made for long roads. Bmw x6 is a sport jeep, for young people, who like to Drive fast and Show up.

I am so shallow that the layout BMW have adopted with reverse tachometer, is a instant no buy. Loved the wheel and binnacle layout in the f30, but these newer beemers, no thank you. Audi and Benz do it right. With my experiance with germans, a Lexus would be my choice right now. The quality of zhe germans have been abmysmal of late imo... Edit: The crystal you could have had in a freaking Volvo 6 years ago, and Volvo do interiors right, why can't BMW get as good as a company less than 1/10th of its size?

If you ever feel like you need an X6, get a coupe sedan. X5 makes more sense all around. The grills aren’t as ugly on the SUVs as they are on the sedan, but they’re still not pretty. Great video as always Eddie.

I’ve never really been a huge fan of the aesthetics of an suv but I have a really special place of hatred for a crossover suv. This is because it says to me the owner has spent more money on the less practical vehicle which is not really sporty or practical just sort of half and half, screams “I have way to much money to know what to do with”. So I would go x5 (but really would buy and m5/5series or the touring)
