Diesel is also still apparently available as a special dealer order/import . Though Dealers no longer keep any stocks of diesel variants locally, it is possible to still bring them in .
@oliver_mendi i came off a flight from Sydney recently and saw 2 brand new 6 Series GT's . Both diesel & both were private orders thru BMW Australia. They bought in about a dozen ordered vehicles. None to gov agencies. The new 5/7 Series can still be ordered In diesel locally despite dealers not keeping any stocks. They are now a special order . The 6 Series GT was last sold in Australia in 2020 . I also had a well known motoring journalist see exactly the same cars as I did .
whatever makes you happy, both are same, merc has more brand value on the street, bmw gives you sporty feeling, under the hood they both are same, almost same price tag ..
How does a $170k car not have a digital temp screen for the backseat air con stack when the old model, x3/x4 does? BMW are a joke in 2023 and I say this having owned them for 20 years.
There’s no such model as the x40i M. They have the x40i, x60i (where you can get the M package professional), the X6 M, or X6 M competition. I built the exact car you’re reviewing on their website (x40i, Executive Package, M package, driving assistance, Brooklyn Gray, Cognac interior, 21in rims and it’s $82,395 USD…please fix this mistake.
