All I had was the GT PRO performer and Dyno Detour but always wanted the Haro Master my friend had and yes my dream top bmx was the Hutch Trickstar.@@TroyCote
@@roberthoward6930 I had a Hutch Pro Raider that was $230 bucks in 1987 now it would be ten times that. I had a couple GTs also. My Holy Grail bike is the Pro Star of course.
In 80s and 90s the bikes was absolutely gorgeus pieces of art, today is just tubes painted in black. Great show, thanks for sharing. Um abraço do Brazil!
I'm 52 and I raced BMX in the 80's in Belgium. I'm now learning to skate with my 12 year old son (already broke an ankle and a leg doing that) but I sure know where my heart really is when I see all these classics...damn!!! GT's, Kuwahara, Haro, Mongoose, Redline, Skyway and those Tuff wheels...omg.
Damnnn... I just started getting into BMX for the first time since the 80's when the Mongoose Blue Max and Diamondbacks were the bikes to have. Now I have a kid who rides and I had no idea how far the style had progressed, nor how many companies are offering these modern retro styles. Can totally tell this is going to be my next money pit.
I had the nostalgia buzz a couple of years ago and pieced together a BMX. I was really pleased with the build. But trying to ride it was awful! I'm not the same person I was 30+ years ago...
I was six and living in a caravan park on the outskirts of Perth. I’ll never forget the crew of teenagers who passed through - from memory they were ‘pro’ bmx racers and they had incredible Dianond Back bikes. I wonder what they were actually doing there. Either way, I’ll never forget how wide eyed I was seeing the bikes they had and how they could ride them.
I so wish I still had my Diamond Back Viper that I raced back as a 13yr old many, many moons ago. Thanks for the walk down memory lane, some pristine examples in that collection of BMX’s.
14:46 correct me if im wrong but looks lot like a 2000 GT pro performer rad bike and all but never seen that bronze metallic, anyone know if i got the wrong bike tryna get me one.
