Yet another Lok Sound decoder install. This time a 90's version Kato SD45 for the BN. This frame is NOT decoder ready, so some machining was needed for me o tape down a ESU 58741 sound decoder and hard wire leads, and pickups to the board. I show how I installed backwards, but correct it so the shell fits nice and snug. And additional LED was mounted on the roof to signify a rotating beacon. Not necessarily prototyped, but adds some more visual fun to the project as well as the performance.
