Beavis and Butthead's self -esteem is unshakable. Whenever they see a hot girl, their inner voice says, *she wants me*. They would've made it in real life if they were real people, no doubt.
My friend used to use that comeback on another friend of mine. My friend would see a hot woman and say "She wants me...." to which my other friend would say "To leave!". LOL!
Years ago on high school my buddy got me into a little band called Pantera(f**k yeah!!!) and shortly after that we were driving home from band practice and heard that Pantera was coming to the Edge in downtown Orlando (!!!) with special guests, White Zombie!! We paused...who?? Never heard of em...oh well, don't care if we miss em, cause we wanna see Pantera!!! As luck would have it, we not only saw em(and were blown the f**k away!) but helped em move some of their gear (no big number of roadies, driving in an rv and trailer that were just above a uhaul) and ended up having "breakfast" with em at a downtown Denny's at like 4am...Rob was totally out of it, probably never even knew it happened(lol!) but had some cool conversations with Sean, J, and Ivan!! Best memory of my 16th year!! Damn I miss the 90s!!!
@@KrisSchwarz98 I don't remember many nu-metal bands on the original Beavis and Butthead episodes. Mostly, they would make fun of pop music and hair metal. Winger was the most famous that they constantly made fun of. The nerdy friend even wore a Winger T-Shirt, trying to be cool.
Several bands got a good deal of recognition by having their videos featured on Beavis & Butt-Head. But none more so than White Zombie. Seriously, Rob Zombie owes his entire career to this cartoon. If I were him, I'd have built a shrine to Beavis & Butt-Head in my house.
yea I'm sure he'll get right on that. yes being on the show got them lots of recognition that they never got until that point and more than likely never would have. But they didn't sell their souls to mtv or Mike judge. They've been touring and slugging and grinding it out since 1985. So when Rob used to get frustrated whenever being interviewed I could understand it. It must've be very frustrating - yes BnB helped them get a ton of recognition and sales and led to tours - Pantera White Zombie Eyehategod was so awesome, but on the flipside I know he felt some resentment that the media and everyone else attributed all their success to two cartoon characters
I saw Rob Zombie do this song in a concert he was double-billed with Marilyn Manson, and they kicked ass. When Zombie was on stage, the video screens showed clips of old horror movies and clips from this video. He also teamed with Manson for a duet of "Helter Skelter", complete with images of Charlie Manson.
They're probably still sitting on the couch watching music videos. Except most of them suck now. Which they undoubtedly pick up on. Say what you want but they have good taste in music.
