As a middle and high schooler I went and talked to people who were graduating and going into teaching and the biggest piece of advice I gave them was to not try and pretend they understood memes.
@@Bollibompa Yeah it's my favorite song from Inside and I think his voice sounds so lovely on it. It's this beautifully soft, vulnerable piece that suits his natural range and makes the most of his appealing tonal quality. It's simple, but it's so great in its simplicity.
"You just like, dab and they make fun of you" I didn't realize this was basically my entire strategy when assistant teaching until Bo put it into words. But like literally kids are just shocked and delighted by my ability to get their vine references, they're not so hard to please XD
@Aquaria I was about to say “we’re not that tricky!” until I realized that I’m on the precipice of being too old to be grouped in with the group you’re talking about (I’m 17). Now IM becoming older, oh god…
man i really hope bo gets on hot ones or something, it feels like he's so insightful and has so much to say but is always asked the same questions over and over
He’s not pro and is probably self-conscious about that difference in skill. He can make nice music, but it doesn’t instantly mean he’s _good_ at singing.
@@WhatIsMyPorpoise I think he’s legitimately good but not great. He calls himself a terrible singer but he hasn’t heard me lol. Imo if you can sing mostly in tune then you are above average to me.
@@apothecurio My thoughts exactly. I'm 3 minutes in and she keeps cutting him off to joke or talk about herself. No idea who she even is and I really wanted to hear him elaborate when she cut him off.
After listening to Inside for the second time, I realized that the whole show is Bo being open about things he doesn't have the answers to but feels very deeply. That's the Whole Show, and I think that's why it hits so hard. It's interesting to see him talking about that 2 years ago
His leg bouncing almost the entire time is adorable. It shows that even though he’s gotten this far, he still has his own problems and he knows he’s human. He’s my idol.
"You just like, dab and they make fun of you" not to bring minecrafters into everything but Bo just described why philza appeals to a younger audience successfully
"season two, diiiisapooointiiing" oh bo I'm so sorry you had to go through the experience of having to watch two seasons of garbage fire. that said, that quote is so funny
i’m so ready to go back to vidcon haha. third year in a row, somehow. not to mention, july 10 is the 2nd anniversary of my suicide attempt and i get to spend it with friends and in my happy place 💓 thank you vidcon!
Its so weird for me now bc I'm 21 and my niece is almost 10, so my generation created the jokes she makes and its like this weird unspoken bond between us that no one else in my family gets but I'm still "an adult" around her.
when he talked about getting along with the middle schoolers that was so relatable bc as a senior cheerleading with a bunch of freshman and underclassmen i literally couldn’t try to be young like them if i wanted too 😭😭
He was fighting anxiety and she laughed at him and mocked him for rubbing his leg to cope. She then asked him for advice on dealing with anxiety. We don’t deserve Bo.
yeah it seems like a lot of people really liked this interview but tbh it felt a little,, uncomfortable to me lmao it seemed tense and the like,, joking about him seeming anxious aah
@@hannahfg0515 Heard. Just expected the core of the interview to be about that. I guess I was speaking from my own disappointment. Still a "bit" click baity
i thought she was more interesting than the standard interviewer who just asks questions boringly. It's more like a talk show, and I thought she was good in that respect.
I don't like that she keeps looking at her phone while he's talking. It's probably not her fault, she was probably given the instructions to do so to read audience questions. But it's distracting and comes across as rude
