I met him once. I didn't take a whole lot of time to talk to him, though. There were a ton of people in line behind me. Just took some pictures of him with my son and told him I learned to drive watching Dukes. He said: you must be a good driver", I said: "spotless record so far". I would have loved to chat with him for an hour or more. Same deal with Cathy the same day. NY State Fair car show.
John seems to be one of us and that is so very cool 😎! Along with Dukes Of Hazzard I loved Hart To Hart. I sent Robert Wagner a letter and he sent my letter back with his comments written on them and a personalized signed picture of him. I wonder if Stars know what an incredible high it is to us having them respond?

8am every Friday night just before Dallas! Grew up watching the duke boys and Daisy too. Good clean show - those were the days. Next day I was jumping wagons on my bike!!!

There were lots of slave owners in the North and many of the founding fathers that signed the declaration had slaves. George Washington had slaves. Where does this all end? Anyone is a target unless we don't give in and say look....it was a different time and it's part of our history, don't erase it, learn from it!
It was more innocent then. On your own car it's one thing, on a state Capitol it's another. We had put a plate on my mom's station wagon. Now if I see one I assume that driver is a dickhead.
Jon Schneider Sir, you have been a hero of mine since the first day I sat cross legged on the living room floor, eyes and mouth wide open in amazement watching The Dukes of Hazzard. After University I watched you in Smallville and was blown away at how you had not aged a day. At 18 years of age in England I bought a Venetian red Ford Cortina mk4 (The closest thing I could get to the General, I even had the dixie air-horns and I jumped that car over the bridge near my home everyday I had it, 70mph downhill to the little bridge and felt the air as it lifted off about 3 inches from the ground, ha ha. Today I find out that you are only 10 years older than myself, and that is truly amazing! Thank you Jon

I mentioned on another video comment that I drove a 1974 Plymouth station wagon with a 440 in it. I had the Dixie air horn setup with all six notes(horns). It was authentic. I also installed a see thru Dixie flag screen in the back window that was made for pickups. As you would imagine for a freshman in highschool this car was a blast. Me and my buddies always did the Bo and Luke hood slide across it. It was hilarious, lots of fun. Not to mention the absurd burnouts. That station wagon was legendary! And he admitted that it was a total accident. He was supposed to run across the hood and his foot slipped and he did that epic knee slide. In the background you can see Bo trying to pull the door open, apparently having forgot that it was welded shut.

Destroyed many vehicles mimicking the dukes of hazzard since discovering in the early 80's. I did learn a mean set of driving skills as well as life skills. Thank you so much ...🤣🤣

As a guy who spends thousands of hours block sanding and restoring muscle cars, watching this has my OCD and anxiety level to over a 1000 lol. But hey its your car and having fun is what lifes all about. They were built to use.... I grew up watching you and thank you for all you have done sir. P.S. I have a picture of me on my Dukes of hazzard big wheel when I was 4 or 5 running into our Christmas tree. On tv the stunts were ok but my mom and dad didn't care to much for me trying to jump the Christmas tree. I was lucky enough to meet and shake hands with Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane many years ago at a Autorama show when Flash was being introduced to the show. The Dukes have always been a huge part of my life.

That's hilarious. When I was a kid my dad had this old broke down station wagon. Me and my best friend painted it up like the general and use to do the hood slide all the time. (Coincidentally we would always fight over who got to play Bo that day lol.
I spent the last few days trying to bring awareness to the case of "Tinslee Lewis, and the Texas 10 day rule", and to be perfectly frank, this world is jading me something fierce. I'm not exactly the most sentimental of people, but when I watch the top ten video, I got a little misty eyed. Man the world use to be so much more simple, and good. Your video brought that thought front, and center, made me recall all the time my parents would say, "In the good old days, we didn't use to have to be foolish, or profane to be entertained." They were right. I'll support this new venture to the best of my ability, I've been share everything on facebook, and Twitter. I hope it catches on good.

Got to say I loved the show when I was a kid. Even my kids loved it growing up. When I saw the yt video for Christmas cars I had to place my order. Can't wait to make Christmas cars our new Christmas tradition replacing A Christmas Story for the family show on Christmas morning.
