your not wrong i remember hearing rumours about ice in the late 90s being taken overseas and once it hit in early 2000s the change was extremely noticeable .
At the end of 2002 I moved the UK. I would hear good things from the old crew over the next few years as they started to get momentum in the techno scene, then all of a sudden it just fell apart. Years later I hear about the ice epidemic and how everyone was sucked into it. I could not have chosen a better time to move to the UK. Missed the whole thing.
100 percent, without a doubt, THIS is what changed the scene for the worse. Meth and Bass Station (NRG scene). I mean zero offense to anyone. This is just how it played out for me.
When Bass Sation started and till they moved to St Kilda venue, everyone was on pills and they were safe ones. I think G started came in the scene around when they moved to St kilda venue.
