I don’t like the 49ers but even though Purdy hasn’t had the best start, he is at least a top 10 quarterback right now. Also Colin Coward doesn’t know football if he actually thinks trash bum Bo nix is better than Purdy.

I used to be a Brock Purdy "hater"/doubter but he is top 10 easy and perhaps even top 7. Bo Nix lol he's a rookie playing like a rookie or did I miss something? Insane take.

If I was assembling a street team I would want a QB with well rounded skill sets and great communicator like CJ Stroud or Brock Purdy.

Yea know who else was a system QB, with a lot of weapons. With Bill Walsh and the west coast offense ? Joe Montana.

Because it's refreshing to hear someone who is grounded in reality in the Purdy debate, and not someone willing to twist it to support some fictional narrative they just want to be true, facts be damned. I like Colin, a lot. But players like Purdy really expose why guys like him wear makeup and belong behind a camera. If sports entertainers like Colin and Nick Wrong were actually in charge of football operations, guys like Purdy would never touch the field, much less be drafted. The 49ers right now would be helmed by the likes of Trey Lance, and struggling to remain relevant. Nick should ask himself who among that list Kyle Shanahan - the guy whose football acumen he always touts - would trade Brock for to run his offense. The answer is maybe, and I mean maybe, CJ Stroud. Kyle would never trade 24 yr old Purdy for the likes of Dak or Goff (esp Goff whose efficiency nosedives under pressure), as both are less mobile, less talented at off schedule playmaking, and less trustworthy to take care of the ball (all three are excellent throwing from a clean pocket).

Colin’s trust fund line is the most offensive BS Ive heard in long time. Seriously, this kid was given NOTHING. Last pick of draft doesn’t even get a seat in team buss. He had to make every rep work, he had to fight and work harder than every other player. Colin is a pompous puff who is high on his own supply. He grew up in Seattle, is friends with Sean McVay and has related family at Arizona, so by default he is against anything SF. Brock Purdy being the most amazing accident of modern NFL is an insult to Colin’s obvious bias.

Purdy wasn't handed ANYTHING. He had to work his @ss off for everything he has. People over value arm strenth and need to get over draft status. If having arm strength was the end all be all then draft busts wouldn't exist. There is more to playing QB and Brock has every intangible you can think of in spades.

Brock does have scrambling on Stroud to me. But strouds accuracy and decision making I think is more important to a QB making him better. Just saying not every part of Stroud is better than Brock
