The Giants no longer have the 39th overall pick. They dealt it to Carolina in the Brian Burnes trade two days ago. They do still have their other second rounder, which originally belongs to Seattle in the Leonard Williams trade. That pick is #47 overall. Nix will be long gone before that. Denver is a great landing spot for him. Sean Payton wants guys who can play QB in his system like a point guard in basketball" distribute the ball around. Excellent match of player and coaching style. They shouldn't get cute. Take him with the 12th overall pick at the latest. The problem with that scenario is that Minnesota also needs a starting QB and they pick right before them at 11. The Broncos might have to move up to 7 (Titans), 8 (Falcons), 9 (Bears), or 10 (Jets) to be sure to get him.
