Yep. 99 % of the General lee's used in movies and stunts are Old Vics.. Glad they found them to recreate, Imagine the cost of using Real chargers ? Yikes
They are crown vics with charger sheet metal. The C.V are the same wheelbase and cheap as crap to use. ( The way to tell the difference is the Dash.. The CV dash looks way too big for the car, but still works for stunts, chases, crashes
And Enos...is going to jump a few police chase pursuit vehicles... And Roscoe p cotrain....is going to say.... Enos you dip stick.,... going to catch those duke boys....

As a 69 Charger owner, thank God this is crown vic wrapped in repro Charger sheet metal and not a real Charger. When you see the dash in this one, its a dead give away.
first of all you are lucky to be a charger owner! Wow...what a dream car... And yes you are right about the vic... Apart from the dash it is obvious that "something" is not right, just looking at the missing triangle window at the doors...
John has been acting really strange lately on his channel. Hearing about his problems with his wife, I just feel he is on a suicide mission and really needs help. I grew up as a his and Tom's fan and I never thought that he would "need" to prove himself in this way. Hell, I could jump the General Lee across the pond, would I need to to prove that I was the star of the show = NO -- I wouldn't care what people think of me. Of course, if a person is the star of the show, they would have stunt people to do the job of making them look like "they jumped the pond". This is because the star of the show can become critically injured -- or dead. John, we all know that you could/ can jump the General Lee over a canyon if you wanted to -- do we really want to see you get hurt or die ? --- NO. So please stop trying to prove yourself as- good/or better than anyone. It's just plain stupidity.

The guy played Bo freakin Duke and you think its odd that the real actor who played that role wants to jump the GL, as a personal feat, something fun. Thats odd to you?
