Yess! You are literally the only content creator that: 1, actually does his research and testing, and 2, isn't just trying to get recycled nonsense out there. You are much appreciated, sir. Thanks for all your hard work!
tbf icemanisaac did the exact same settings in the span of like 2 minutes. he doesn't give examples of effects or show the fps loss per setting, but he tests it all.
@@sadfaceandy Isaac doesn't test everything, he doesn't even know what he's talking about half the time. It's evident even in his most recent settings video. Creators like him are exactly what I mean that are only interested in getting the most views by recycling garbage info as quickly as possible.
Anisotropic filtering is basically texture quality viewed from an angle, it is most noticeable on ground texture. On low AF, texture would be blurred from a close distance, increasing it will also increase this distance meaning blurryness will start from further away with highest having no blurryness (presumably if it's 16x AF).
Actually I was expecting this video after wz implementation. Comparsion after warzone implementation too would be super helpful because big map changes things. Thanks!
This is the only guide I’ve seen that actually recommended using HDR if you have a HDR monitor, everyone else, and I mean EVERYONE says turn it off yet my game looks so much better with it on.
well, from my experience in other games, hdr did put extra load on the gpu and was related to some unstable fps and a performance regression. But maybe that's bcuz of me being gpu limited. I tried many games from FH5, GoW, and Uncharted 4 (had the biggest performance impact and it would sometime seven refuse to launch with it on)
Like always your guides on COD performance is best in class on the internet where we can see in number but also visually how the setting will appear. Keep it up!!!
Hi, Thanks for the guide. You are one of the rare RU-vidrs to explain each graphics option and its impact on fps. For example I had looked at guides on Apex Legends and most of the players said to put NVIDIA reflex on + boost without explaining why. So I put on + boost even though I'm GPU limited, so I had drops in fps and terrible input lag. Knowing that for GPU limited, you just have to put it on, I had more FPS and less input lag. Could you make a guide on The Finals (mouse settings, video settings, audio settings). Many thanks.
The best person who does a comprehensive coverage of the settings and explains in an understandable way.. It is very tiring.. Thanks all the love and respect my friend
I only trust you because you are the one who meticulously tests every single setting, which is crazy. Appreciate your hardwork and effort. Good sir, thank you! 🙏
Anisotropic Filtering is supposed to do exactly what it says in the description but I agree the difference seems minimal. Maybe it depends more about combined Texture Resolution setting, or maybe Variable Rate Shading messes with it. I can see a small difference in your example but it's not noticeable to most players. Oh and if you test for Anisotropic filtering with Fidelity FX CAS you will see less difference.
been subbed to this channel since your MW2 2022 video. you are the only channel that goes over every graphics setting, WITH DETAIL, and... actually shows exactly what they do,visually. where as any other channel will either just tell you to put all settings at lowest,and/or only tell you what each one does and not show the difference.
Heck yea!!! I searched for a black ops 6 best settings and was hoping a video from your self would come up. At the time there wasn’t but now there is. Thank you very much. I like your videos more over the others that are out there ❤
So good to see a settings guide with detailed testing, much prefer it over people releasing a settings video on day 1 with no insight and testing methods.
you can disable on demand texture streaming but only on PC in the game install you have a folder called *xpak_cache* in their you will have 33 or 65 files if you set them files ( not the folder it self ) but the files to read only, this disable on-demand texture streaming i would assume this also help CPU since their no decompression of texture and 1% low
That is exactly what I was looking for. Even I know by myself, what each setting is doing visualy, I want to thank you for your job! Hope that video will have the most views
Thank you. Great guide. Was getting some seriously messed up water textures before furrowing this tweak guide. Latest driver, 7800X3D/RTX 4070 Ti Super. It's running very smoothly now.
Thank you so much, as always, for your info-packed settings 🙏🏼. Can’t wait for the config file video 😂 Also, I would love to see a video going over AMD Adrenaline settings, specifically for this game. Thanks again! Have a good day!
good guide. thank god you actually had two completely different systems to test on stuff like reBAR and external stuff outside the game considering alot I've seen on twitter have just been parroting what to disable and not disable without actually considering the nature of PCs having different configurations EDIT: turned AMD SAM on for my 5700X3D/7800XT/1080p setup, GPU score got much higher but CPU scores got worse. don't experience in-game hitches or stuttering other than occasional packet burst. CPU/GPU times are mostly even (at 3/4ms) with GPU time being higher sometimes by 1ms so I don't get the bottlenecking. GLOBAL RESULT AVG FPS - 237 FPS (SAM OFF) | 263 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 5th - 186 FPS (SAM OFF) | 200 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 1st - 176 FPS (SAM OFF) | 181 FPS (SAM ON) CPU SCORE AVG FPS - 297 FPS (SAM OFF) | 278 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 5th - 240 FPS (SAM OFF) | 202 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 1st - 213 FPS (SAM OFF) | 180 FPS (SAM ON) GPU SCORE AVG FPS - 245 FPS (SAM OFF) | 284 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 5th - 191 FPS (SAM OFF) | 218 FPS (SAM ON) LOW 1st - 186 FPS (SAM OFF) | 211 FPS (SAM ON) I'll try tuning my RAM again to alleviate the CPU bottleneck because it's currently just XMP enabled.
Did you also test without SAM? I would be extremely curious to see the results as an additional point! Note that at 1080p I would expect to be more often CPU bottlenecked than at 1440p
Important tip for next vidoe on upscaling which NOBODY covers: In BO6 u can enable FSR3 but it isnt as crisp. So what i did to boost my performance is: Enable RSR (driver version of FSR) and then enable FidelityFX Cas ingame to sharpen everthing because RSR has a little bit of qulaity los. Now i have on a i7 14700k + RX7800XT (hybrid build) 1440p ~ round about average 270fps. I would also recommand to test „thread count“ (game documents)from 0-16 if this impacts latence or only qulatiy. I turned that on before I did the rsr and fx cas tweeking.
FXcas is great if you dont need to get better performance. I havent tested the upscalers yet so cant tell how well they perform or which produce the best image at the highest perf uplift
Much awaited video And trust me other YTbere make bs videos about performance and optimization , they dont even know what they are talking about. Thanks for uploading I needed this video.
@@TechGuides hahaa. Also I have a few points to add. I have been testing the game myself since 2 days. Here's what I have found and would prefer. *Someone with at least 8 gigs of VRam can run high textures. *Shader quality set to Medium, at least. I know it takes performance but low literally kills that next gen visuals *Surprisingly, on demand texture streaming tanks performance like crazy. Unless you have lots of Vram, you always want to go for minimal with download limitations. *For some reason foliage in the game is extremely intensive. So setting the detail quality to medium can help.
Noteworthy: The Vorkuta MP map has a visual bug with the ground when shader quality is set to anything but high. On low and medium, the nearby ground's snow literally "melts" away to show a black ground underneath. That's the only thing to consider with shader quality.
