Huh. You know, usually when a board game releases a [Theme] edition I feel like it's just a lazy cash grab, since all that's changed is, effectively, the wallpaper. Oh Monopoly but now it's Star Wars, that's nice. It doesn't really change how the game plays. But with Spyfall, since the locations really *are* the game, having a re-theme that adds different locations does provide genuine new content to play with. So that's kinda neat.
Friends and I made a variation on spyfall that is similiar to the Harley Quin module. We were inspired by Secret Hitler with the Fascists aiding Hitler, so we added a "Flipoed Agent", but the Spy had to achieve certain goals (changed every game to make it random and add to the mystery) in order to flip someone. Upon achieving the goals everyone would receive new character cards and 1 of them would be the flipped agent card. It was really fun when we began roleplaying our characters and the flipped agent would make a motive for why they flipped and decided to help the spy.
I'm working on a boardgame right now. I hope you will test it. I can send you a prototype to make a review on? I will not be able to mass produce it without money.
