Board Game Reviews Ep #63: ATTACK ON TITAN: DECK-BUILDING GAME 

When you pull the colossal titan you should get the option to just smoosh your opponent's cards with your hands

A house rule I use is giving each wall 3 HP, using the Wall card itself to represent another shield (that way there's no need for any kind of extra tokens). To add a bit of the challenge back in I added a rule that the final Archenemy boss Titan instantly destroys any Wall it deals two damage to in one hit, regardless of how much HP that Wall had left. That way it both keeps more in theme with the Colossal and other unique Titans being able to destroy a Wall with one hit, and it mechanically increases the difficulty a bit for a climatic final battle. I hadn't thought of adding a "training phase" to the game before. I've mostly avoided any unfair beginnings as long as I make sure there's no big clumps of normal Titans in the deck before I start shuffling, . I might just be lucky though, so I'll play around with having a Titan-free top portion of the deck to see how that plays out.

I love deck building and attack on Titan. Would houseruling some rules to make it less random at the beginning of the game and adding some things to walls to being destroyed be viable? If so how would you reccomend implementing that?

Practically unlimited rebalancing and campaign building through custom shuffles! Wall hp could be altered with some tokens

There should be like 3 or 4 hp for walls

If you are fighting an archenemy titan, and you draw “Breakthrough” and you are unable to defend the ambush thus destroying the district you are in, do you still get the kill for the titan if you generated enough power? Or do destroy the district and don’t get the kill?

Actually it's very thematic to let some walls just crumble and abandon them, and also sacrifice tons of people to gain time. If rewatch the first season, that's exactly what the central government does!
