We’ve all been there, a fellow kiter has lost their board and you happen to be close to it. You’d like to retrieve it and carry it over, saving them a hefty body drag upwind. Only problem, you don’t know how! You give it a go, crash your kite, drop their board on your feet and end up drifting downwind at a snail’s pace!
Here we give you a step by step method to carry a board safely and securely whilst flying your kite with two hands. No sliding off your knees and hitting your feet, or crashing your kite. It’s an essential skill that every kiter should master. This will make riding downwind, upwind and transitioning whilst carrying a board an achievable reality.
