I don't know why but there's something oddly amusing about those missed boarding torpedoes. Just a bunch of Space Marines loaded into a can and fired off into the depths of space and everybody just forgot about them.

Cry about boarding action while playing close quater as a nova cannon spam build XD.

I actually recommend going with the MK1 versions :). In addition to boarding torpedoes, you get ordonnance bays. With 6 MK1 and 4 escorts (also using boarding torpedoes and Honor of the Chapter), you can instantly overwhelm any amount of point defense. You essentially become a silent running precision strike force :D

Some Salamander love action next? Imagine Master Smith Armor and Weapon fighting in close, tight space of ships hulls XD

Can you do an Imperial Navy build focused around the Apocalypse Class Battleship? It's my favorite looking ship but I can't figure out how to make it viable competitively.

You should definitely check out Scars by Chris Wraight - makes the White Scars sound so cool.

There are plans to add unique abilitys to all subfactions at some point. In a way boarding is more powerful whilst it's not instant a single boarding action has the potential to do more damage than it used to. Just a different way to play. Small where pretty strong on the meta. Main advise focus guns on 1 target and focus boarding on 1 or 2 other ships as ur single target dps is not actually that bad.

He played vary badly, you dont get in CC with space marines, man. Also thats what you get for spamming nova

okay so what exactly changed about boarding? You mentioned it multiple times but I do not really see any difference at all.

wait the minute white scars don't use any terminator

first. he quit to early. he could have tried to spread out his fleet in the end and hope one gets away or recovers enough and the kite you with the point lead and just hope its enough. I don't like people who quit I play threw to the end cause their still stuff to learn second. he could have taken stasis bombs since he was running nova spam and then use escorts to kite your cruisers dropping novas on your ships once he got them trapped in a stasis. third. he also should have stayed spread out and forced you to chase him down. especially early on once he had the point lead. hitting you with nova blasts from gas clouds while you chased a handful of escorts or only exposing a few of his cruisers.
