No way, we were on the same sailing!!! I watched all of the Virgin vids on your channel to prepare for my first ever cruise, they were so so helpful. Wish I would’ve ran into you on board. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the vlogs!

Ich war letzten Herbst im Mittelmeer unterwegs mit der Valiant Lady. Das Schiff ist sehr schön, die Kabine ebenfalls, und die Hängematte habe ich geliebt. Aber das Essen! Es war meine erste Kreuzfahrt und ich hatte große Erwartungen, die leider sehr enttäuscht wurden. Das am ehesten noch genießbare Essen gab es in der Galley, aber auch dort war ich eher wenig zufrieden. Das Sushi? Ein trockener Witz. Leckere Pastagerichte (wir sind ja im Mittelmeer!), Fehlanzeige. Schöne Fischplatten, nie gesehen. Waffeln zum Frühstück, leider nein. Die Rahmensuppe war total versalzen. Die Pizza pappig. Und so weiter. Nach einer Woche war ich gefrustet. Aber noch viel schlimmer waren die Spezial-Restaurants. Mini-Portionen, die toll aussahen, aber nach nichts schmeckten. Am schlimmsten war die Test Kitchen. Ich habe nach der Hälfte der Reise die restlichen Restaurants storniert und nur noch in der Galley gegessen. Ich dachte, wenn es auf allen Kreuzfahrtschiffen so fades Essen gibt, dann werde ich kein Kreuzfahrer. Zum Glück habe ich an Weihnachten es noch einmal probiert, und zwar mit der Norwegian Dawn in den Emiraten. Das Essen war fantastisch! So lecker, die Restaurants ein Gedicht! Kein Vergleich mit der Valiant Lady. Leider. Schönes Schiff ja, gutes Essen leider nein. Und Essen ist ja schließlich wichtig auf einer Kreuzfahrt, finde ich.

Virgin Voyages is our favourite with Royal being a close second! We love them both for different reasons, just depends on the type of vacation we are wanting to have ☺️
