You use a lot of "disclaimers" when it comes to Lenny, I think people need to leave you alone. No one knows how to best care for Lenny than you do, and as a parent who watches every episode I think you are doing a magnificent job.

unfortunately... as there are people that leave a thumbs down... I am sure there are people out there craving to call child protective services and tell them they have seen first hand how this baby boy Lenny has such bad parents! Good parents have good kids taken away in this world unfortunately. I hope his home schooling in years to come goes well. But for now... he has at least 3-5 more years of just being a kid with loving parents!

So cool that you’ve made it! Know how I know? Because you’ve attracted so many people and now you also have the nay sayers! That’s proof that you have made it to the big time! It’s sad, but true. I’ve been thru the internet fame thing and that’s how it goes. I couldn’t handle it after a while and sold my site. Please be very careful about the ticks. That area is notorious for Lyme disease, which must be treated ASAP. If you notice any sort of rash or flu-like symptoms, you need antibiotics ASAP. I've had chronic Lyme since 2006 and it sucks, but if it's caught quickly, about a month of doxycycline does the trick. Be very careful near any woodsy areas in CT/NY.

I know it’s hard when people criticize your parenting, my wife and really enjoy your channel, and think that you and Riley are great parents, your giving Lenny an opportunity of a lifetime, ocean lifestyle with two parents who are with him 24/7, most parents can’t say this. Besides there is risk in everting you do especially living in a busy city, the same people who complain are probably the same people who text and drive. Enjoy life

I hope you loved Block Island! Its a pretty great place- During prohibition in the 1920s people would smuggle alcohol from the mainland to the island. I live on the border of Connecticut and Rhode Island and go to Block Island quite often! Who knows maybe we were there at the same time! Love the videos x

the sticking in gear can be because when you have seawater mixed with gear oil it gets thicker and at the same time does not lubricate well. I've had a lot of experience with outdrives in salt water and every year always change the gear oil and look for water. Good luck in your travels and loved seeing Montauk which is local to me....

Riley--- Do not take water in transmission oil lightly. Very bad for transmissions. Oil will not dissipate heat with water in it which will cause brinelling effect on the gears. Oil will foam and lose it’s properties. Check it often. Change it often until you get the seal installed.

Never be ashamed of your baby voice. It’s just perfect for Lenny, and it’s gorgeous to see you both with him. I’m never worried. I think Lenny is a very safe and fortunate young man. Most people complaining probably drove to fast to drop off their kid to complete strangers all day. ❤️

Your doing an amazing job of raising your boy, no need to explain anything, the nit pickers will always be there whether you do or not (and I am one myself when it comes to child safety) but you are in a unique situation, sailing with a one year old (hardest year to keep a baby safe anywhere, land, sea or sky) AND having a camera on! So keep being mindful, always. Glad you have the playpen for the times you need it and just keep sharing the beautiful journey you have created!

Beware of chocolate-milk-oil. Every parent does the "baby voice", even if they aren't aware of it. The both of you are awesome parents and Lenny is the luckiest kid on the planet. And if some people are critical for you bringing your son up on a boat, they are simply wrong. There is not a healthier and contented little boy in the wolrd than Lenny. Great parents and clean air. Elayna... Lyme Island is around that area which is where Lyme Disease comes from. It's spread by Deer Ticks...Look it up. Also.. get Riley to look up the Montauk Project... Very interesting.

I am so excited to watch this episode as you are on your way to my favorite place EVER!! We vacationed here every year in the summer. Either stayed on the hook or at Champlains Marina. We would rent mopeds and head over to the other side of the island and spend the day at the Bluffs. So many memories. Anyway I am totally confident in your safety abilities with Lenny. This time of year we have a lot of ticks in high grass in Finland. Ticks are probably different in different parts of the world,- but as long as you shower daily the ticks here will not bite down on you. They tend to crawl around for up to 24 hours before settling on a spot. But maybe giving toddlers a daily bath would help with not having to remove those nasty things from the little ones. Love you guys

I don't think you need to put a disclaimer about how you are parenting. You are doing a fine job of it, you both wouldn't do anything that could put any one of you in so much danger, so whoever has a go at you for how you parent needs to chill out. Yes! Use a file on your tooth, we had a Parent/Neurosurgeon on kids boat trip, kid fell, chipped tooth, Dr filed it right down, trip went on! One of the funniest memories of childhood :)
