Over the last few weeks, we have decided to slowly monetise our videos less and less, resulting in (fingers crossed) a whole lot less ads for you. We figured that if you want to get really, truly engrossed in this passage, you need as little distraction as possible. We feel by doing this, you can hopefully receive a more authentic look at what life is like out there, on the ocean. Saying that, if we continue on this journey of less and less ads, financially, it won't be sustainable, so we would be really grateful if you would consider heading to our Patreon and becoming part of the Tribe, if you can afford it. It will mean we can continue to produce these vids, with less of the 'stuff' in between. Thanks for being here, Becka and Zach www.patreon.com/teulutribe

Becka & Zack: IMO, you should keep monetizing from YT... I've been following you since the beginning of your channel (before you had a boat) and I really appreciate being able to watch your adventures. It takes a lot of work to create videos and your content, fabulous photography, music selection, editing, etc, should be rewarded. I would be willing to pitch-in at Patreon, but at this point I am trying to work things out so I can retire in Mexico. So, for now, watching a couple of commercials while I enjoy your adventures, is not a big deal and it is my way to pitch in. Thank you for sharing with us!! ⛵️🤗🤗⛵️ Rick - Houston TX

Thanks for sticking around since the early days, Rick! We also appreciate the feed back, I think we will do a bit of a trial with it for the next month and see how we get on and how it effects the channel. We appreciate not everyone is in the position to sign up to Patreon. You can still follow us on there and not pay anything 😊 Hopefully our paths will cross in Mexico! Our pleasure 😁

You're right, Cocos is magical, both on land and in the water. I've been fortunate to have done two dive trips there (even got to play beach soccer against the rangers) and the diving can be pretty crazy (both the marine life and the weather). I've also seen the tiger shark that killed a diver in 2017 not too far from where you were moored so the rangers aren't kidding about the tigers.

Great sail and outstanding striped marlin. You're not going to find many videos of sailors hand lining a 150lb marlin while underway. If this ever happens to you again, cutting the line is another option. Large fish have a better chance at surviving a fight the sooner their released. The hook will rust out no matter what metal its made of. One other consideration, if you use big bait expect to catch big fish so a smaller bait could have prevented catching a monster. Great job getting on camera, because if you did not, It's just another fish story.

Shades of Jurassic park ... Or the lost world ... 😉 The coolness in the Galapagos is largely due to the upwelling cold ocean current caused by the islands sea mounts .... Seaounts are the oceans stirring sticks 😂 but thats what brings the nutrients up from the deep and he explosion in marine life that feeds the Islands land life. That area of the Pacific has got surface super heated..due to El Ninio ..now your going into the cooler wetter el Ninia effect.. but as you've no doubt heard the heat spills over into the Adlantic and Tropical storms and Hurricanes.. NOAA is warning the ocean heat is pushing Tropical storm Beryl into the Caribbean as i write. The waters as hot at the beggining this year as normally it is at the end of Aug... they were sort of saying 🤷🏻 unprecidented so judge for yourself. Normally Marlin will jump and they change their skin patterns when they goi into attack for feeding pumpingbup those stripes . Take a look at the Big Marlin caught by Hemmingway in the Caribbean near cuba old black and white photos..online. Inpired the old man of the Sea. Glad you managed to let that one go without injury.
