@@TheNarrowboatPirate left you a poem 4 days ago, it's from last week's video. I very much enjoyed your cooking recipe. Must tell you, when you raised your cup of rum, I was already on standby... with a cold beer. So, cheers Heidi.
Very fancy! Removing the soup from the can was a bold move let alone the starts with a P spice. My personal short cut is baked beans straight from the can! 😂 Please show us your recipe for gin and tonic sometime.
Hello Heidi and Bonny ... another wonderful video as usual. I appreciate your cooking lesson ... I learned alot (teasing). You are an excellent videographer and a fantastic pirate so being poorly skilled at cooking is just fine ... You won't starve to death so who needs to know more than that. Save my space for next week ... I'll be here ... with love from Gramma Lainee
That cooking leason was TV gold Heidi! Fantastic thanks lol. Smashing episode. Little Bonny is getting sweeter every day! Cheers the Cornish crew James and Shelly xx🏴☠️🥂
Heidi, baps in soup ? - absolutely. Did it since I was a kid, and I am now nearer to 70 than 60 haha 🙂//// what you need to try is this. Get some tinned fruit, drain the liquid and have the fruit with ice-cream or on it's own.... but, it is the tinned fruit juice you need for the prize!. now, butter yer baps, or even sliced bread or any bread and dip it into the fruit juice and enjoy ! .. absolutely first class. It was an absolute treat when I was a kid (up north!). Try it, You will almost certainly love it.
That was so good, soup and baps that turned into croo-tons AND cooked with rum, well the rum was consumed by the chef so I'm not sure that actually counts. Doon south we 'as er croo-tons from toasted bread, is that the Fenchie way?? I'm having my cheese n biscuits at this minute with a wee tot o port to add a touch o luxury, bit like your rum n soup. Too late to actually cook from scratch (tomorrow more time so a chicken curry) so just about to throw a chik Kiev in the oven, with boiled tatties n garden peas, better than bread and pull it!!😆Great fun at your rock up and flog stuff, lots of great people, lovely. Super enjoyable vid Heidi & Bonny, take care, old smuggler Frank ah harrr me shipmates😊😊

I'm a Kentish lad, and we always called them baps. Actually, the soft flattish ones were baps, the more domed crusty ones were just crusty rolls. And yes we did rip them up and "feed the ducks" as my mum used to say. Can't eat em now cos of the carbs, but hey ho! Oh, and blimey, I didn't expect to see my name on the patrons list so quickly! Gosh! :) Storm Lilian coming . . . must be a bank holiday! Take care
Heidi your a bloody marvel. Thanks for a great video. What a marvellous Chef 🧑🍳 😀Thanks once again. Love ya lots Trevor & Linda. Xxx. PS definitely put ya bread 🍞 in the soup 🍜
Finally… some home cooking… at last we see the real Heidi at home in her galley preparing and cooking a real meal… I’m hoping she leaves the recipe in the comments as I’ve gotta try this meal on my boat… thanks Heidi! your years spent at college really paid off, opening that tin was as good as I’ve seen on most cookery programs on TV 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😄
Hysterical cooking 😂 cheered us up no end. Soft rolls - baps. Definitely. Crusty rolls - cobs. I used to drop bread into soup. But had forgotten about it, until now.
Heidi, this was fabulous!! We loved it. The cooking segment was hilarious. You did it so well and used all the correct terminology😂 Thanks for such an entertaining video❤ I hope you have a good stay there. It's very pretty xxx
You're like one of those TV cooking shows where they reach under the counter and say "and here's a little something I prepared earlier" and voila there, miraculously is a piece of ready made bread. Apart from that slight-of-hand a pretty decent recipe.
My mom grew up the US state of Missouri , not too far from Mark Twains birth place. When we had bean soup with ham bits we alway broke up white bread in it. Her framily came from the London area in the 1860s. My Dads favorite quick meal was cold corn bread in milk. Lived to 90. 😊
Good episode Heidi, including a cooking masterclass, in Australia it's a bread roll, when we were kids we use to rip up our toast and put in tomato soup, cheers.....
Hey you Guys!!!!! It was great catching up with you both again yesterday 😊 never realised that you are such a talented chef 😂😂 amazing!!!!!! Safe journey on, much love to you both from the Witches Den!!!!!!!!! Kay, Dave and Bubba Shrimp xx

Looking at Bunny laying and watching the bank go by it's easy to see that while you might be the pilot of the boat Heidi, Miss Bunny is the Marter of the Ship. LOL
What a stunning place to moor up, lots of lovely people too. Loved the cooking section, where I come from they are bread rolls, and ALWAYS proper BUTTER here too! always a lovely way to spend the start of Thursday evening with Heidi and Bonny x
Hi Heidi & Bonny, love watching you every week and really enjoyed this weeks episode , so funny. Lovely area where you were staying and really enjoyed the cooking lesson! Made me smile too as I always break my bread (we call them cobs here in Nottingham) and my husband always laughs at me but always used to do it when I was younger. Enjoy your week and looking forward to next weeks episode ❤❤
I’m going to call this my favorite video. First when you said you were going to attempt to try cooking a new recipe, I was like Oh No and then when you warmed a can of soup and buttered a dinner roll (that’s what we call them in Chicago) I was dying😂😂😂😂😂❤🏴☠️
Well, I live in the southern eastern part of the USA, and we tore up slices of bread to put in anything that had liquid or broth. My favor was tomato soup and Sunday pot roast with the pot liquor from the roasting pan. My ancestors all came from England and Scotland back in colonial days so it is a old way of eating.
