I rarely comment, but watch every cast. I love Heidi and Bonny. But this actually made me cry, CRY at the thought of all we have lost because of that horrible virus. I truly hope they bring back the dragon. When dragons disappear, the world gets a little colder. Maybe people will start talking about that weird chick talking about a dragon and bring it back.

I remember when Parbold was the HUB of Narroboat Auctions ! Traditional boats, were being sawn in half , Bows, and Sterns ere being stitched onto them to shorten them ! This was in the 60's when I lived on the other side of the Valley from Parbold ! I lived there from 1962 to 1971, but NEVER heard of the Parbold Dragon ! Stay searching for the Dragon ! Stu xx

Witches and dragons and pirates, oh my! I didn't know anything about the Pendle Witches but I've looked them up online and am learning. And yes, witches are wonderful, thoughtful, helpful, and powerful people ... yes who bring imagination and hope to us ... what's not to like? Yes I believe in dragons and love it that the kids story writing expanded out into a festival. Truly amazing. If dragons didn't exist how come they are so revered in Wales and China? Love them. For some reason in my mind’s eye when I see that windmill even without the vanes in place images of Don Quixote charging at it with Sancho Pansa in tow come to mind.😂 Guess it’s a good thing that the dragon of Parbold isn’t mainstream or either Dreamworks or Disney would probably ruin it.😮
Sad that festival is no more, I believe in magic too. The kids dressed up and went and met the dragon in town, shouldn’t really be that hard to do again, so many turned up for the festival.
