Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the 2 different lifestyles. However, I feel you are comparing apples with apples (which is not what we want to see). We want to know about apples vs oranges. OK, boat life, I would consider mountain climbing, mountain treking is part of boat life, every island every where you go, you will encounter tracks and wilderness to explore (on top of what is in the ocean). Every isolated long journey across the oceans. Isolated life on a deserted beach/island. For me, land life would be more like living in cities, going to cafes, shopping, restaurants, movies with friends, going to places where lots and lots of people living on land. Taking road trips along the countryside getting all the natural beauty of the land that boat life cannot get. Taking Road trip across the whole continent, taking in times on beautiful highways, go to the top of highest buildings in every cities.

Boat lifeeee

You are able to live the life you want because of your parents. Period. Their idea of child rearing has always focused on freedom and fun experiences..Most kids have parents who strive in a different direction with their kids: jobs, duties, obligations, and school are at the top of their list re their kids. Most kids learn at an early age that life is not all games and fun. Its about being responsible for others rather than always it being about ourselves and our fun meter. Down the road it will be interesting to see how much tolerance you really have for the needs of others.

you'll be on the boat for a few more years, and then on land the rest of your life. Be pretty cool to look back and say you circumnavigated.
