13:05 When we went sailing year ago, we did the same. Not the highest but the most beautiful one in St. Lucia, I think it's called Petit Piton. You should go up there, it's awesome.

There’s very few sharks around the eastern carribean. LOTS in the Bahamas though. We keep a keen eye out and watch their behavior when they show up on the scene. They really don’t care about us unless we have a free snack (fish) flopping around in our hands. Believe it or not, most of the time sharks swim away when we swim toward them. They know we aren’t on their menu.

we had a general itinerary about where we wanted to go this year, but it wasn’t ever set in stone. and yes I’ve made new friends at different places, but we tend to stay around the same group

anyone who watches sailing videos knows that lion fish are bad and need to be slain a few Caribbean restaurants have started putting them on the menu so i don't think it will upset folks if you talk about "dispatching" them and as you said they taste good and they are a scourge on the environment on this side of the world where they don't belong PS great cake ladies well done who knew "swabbing the deck [shower]" is a real thing lol
