Couple of heated arguments started at the boat ramp at Black Point Marina and boy was it a Chit Show.
The boat ramp fails were a little extra crazy in Miami this weekend. We have not even made it to Spring and the boat ramps are super full. If this is an early indication of how summer will be should be ready for a wild summer.

Had a friend that wouldn't understand a boat still moved in gear at idle, had to be 1/3 throttle and in/out of gear. After a boat pong between our slip dock and the pontoon in it's slip the next dock over he lost all privileges' with his own boat if he wanted company. He bounce between our dock, the pontoon, our dock, the pontoon knocking 10-12 people off their feet on the pontoon, and because he hit so hard the plug popped out and the damn thing sunk to the outboard cowling, gunrails, windshield. It started, and what water didn't run over the transom ran out of the drain hole while moving. Rick never captained another boat with someone else in it after that.

Mr. Montaner, as a member of the "Fred the Crock" fan club I think it would be great if after Fred returns from his vacation that you get with him for an interview. Just ask him a few questions like what his hobbies are, how he meet his girlfriend and what is his favorite foods are. Be sure to do this in the afternoon, he's kind of a grump without his morning coffee. Will be waiting, thanks.

They have boaters insurance for a reason, why get all mad if no body is hurt? I get that it’s a hassle to get repairs done especially when you are not the one at fault, but I’ve seen people get physical even when little kids are around, and often when damage is negligible little more than scuffs.

They really should mandate some sort of test to legally operate a boat.. Too many accidents and deaths by people with more money than sense.. Came back to the ramp to my trailer guide post and tag mount broken over the weekend.

Most time the culprit is what the drank all day. If they have a drivers license they drive a boat. But, I agree should be boaters school and a 'road' test. Including how to properly get in and out of the water. But then we might lose our chit show

If I owned a boat in this area I would never use this ramp for any reason. Private marina to launch/store or find somewhere else. Too many egomaniac hot heads who have their heads stuck up their azzes
