Boat ride to visit the Silicon Island Reclamation (Penang South Island) 

Together with core members of AnakPinang, a group formed to fight for a better Penang for all, my wife and I visited the Silicon Island Reclamation happening off the coast of Permatang Damar Laut, on the southeastern tip of Penang Island. We started our journey from the Marine Operation Control Centre (MOCC) in Batu Maung, where we were first given a briefing. Our visit is the first time members of the general public has been taken to visit the site after the visit of the Chief Minister.
