Just stumbled upon your channel, and instantly recognized the marina de la cruz. We were there on our Islander 36 in 2019-2020 on our way south to Zihua, and then north the entire length of the sea of cortez as an alternative to Covid keeping us from puddle jumping. Love your deck layout!
We are going to look at an Islander 36 next week. As liveaboards, do you find that the V-berth has enough ventilation with only the one overhead hatch? Is there enough kitchen storage? Clothes storage? Thanks for the video. Looks like a nice home.
Sorry for the delay! We didn't see the comments on here until now! Yes it does have good ventilation. We have port lights that open in the v-birth and a hatch, as well as several port lights that open throughout the boat. Air flows well through the boat. The inside of the hull is formed fiberglass, so you can put in additional hatches as many as you want. Storage is tight, but we make it work with the space we have. Clothing storage is a tough one, but we have become very minimal in this lifestyle. We can carry 3 months worth of food and gear here in the tropics.
