Boating at Night in Tampa Bay in a Clear Boat

Not much moonlight so it was pretty dark, especially near the mouth of the bay away from the city lights. The best thing about going out in the boat at night is the quiet solitude. Just the sounds of water against the boat and the occasional dolphin surfacing. The motor on the boat is electric so it's really quiet.

Yooo I love it, pretty cool! Do you actually get good enough visibility to see much fish?

It's just like wearing a mask underwater, so yes. If you look through some of my other videos on this channel (See Through Canoe) you'll see plenty of videos of manatees, rays, fish and other things under the clear kayaks, paddleboards, and boats that my company makes 🙂 Here's a link to one of them, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FkMgI3Y8Kbw.html

It's made out of polycarbonate, the same stuff that's used to make bullet and impact proof glass, police riot shields and other applications. Thickness is 7mm.

It's very strong. All of the clear boats, kayaks, & paddleboards that my company makes are made out of polycarbonate. It's the same stuff that's used to make bullet and impact proof glass, police riot shields and other applications. I've tested the durability of our kayak in a lake full of large alligators as well as around all sorts of sharks. And the boat is almost 3 times thicker than the kayak so it's really tough and can take a hit. 🙂

What, no fish showed up to the video shoot?

There were plenty of fish around but I was focused on getting footage of the boat on this particular trip. I've got tons of videos on this channel showing fish and other things under the clear boats and other vessels. Here's a link to a couple of them if you're interested, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kY0yQU3WiVM.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-asrIrv1hZFY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Q8MvN6kwu0.html

That's the most annoying, ugly, infuriating thing on a peaceful lake at night. I would throw things at it if I saw it driving by. Someone always has to ruin the beautiful lake for everyone.

As mentioned in the title, this isn't a lake, it's Tampa Bay. Help me understand how a clear boat would "ruin the beautiful lake for everyone"? When the white led lights aren't on, and the only lights on the boat are the red, green & white navigation/running lights as required by law.... how is it any different from any other boat on the water with proper navigation lights? I'll give you a hint, the only difference would be that the clear boat is much less visible save for the presence of the legally required navigation/running lights. You would "throw things at it if you saw it driving by".... uh-huh. Puff that chest out a little more tough guy.

You are objectively right and that's why I love this boat.
