Thanks! It was an immense amount of work. I unfortunately do not have the equipment to bend 1/4" stainless at my shop so I has to get some help bending that top plate. I brought it to a shop called associated sheet metal and they were able to bump it in their roller to make the curve. It turned out great!
No polishing compound. Just sanding disc's on a buffer in stages. 50, 80, 120, 220, 400, 800, 1200, 1500, 2000. The 50 through 220 stages were the longest as the metal was a mill finish so needed a lot of roughing in to make smooth. That was the hard part.
