Weather on 6 July was better than yesterday though there were still occasional heavy showers. Nevertheless, the airshow went on with less changes. There were spectacular displays by the various teams, such as the tail chase by Spitfire and Buchón, Spitfires and Hurricanes, Strikemasters, Stampe Team, Tiger 9 Formation Team, Flying Comrades, Harvard T-6G, Navy Wings; and in particular the formation flight by the giant B17 and two C47s. However, the round-canopy parachute drops was cancelled in last-minute due to sudden strong wind and heavy showers over Headcron even the parachutists were already airborne! This is the first part of the show on Saturday, the next video will feature the B17 and C47 and more. Do enjoy this video and wait for the next one. Furthermore, a big thank you to the airshow organiser for letting me, one of the Friday attendees, to enjoy the Battle of Britain Airshow 2024 again on Saturday. Well Done!
