OMG GONNA TRY THAT!! For the ppl who didnt get it, took me a while as well: shes like braiding but keeping the braidhair on the same place and only "wrapping" the real hair around the braidhair instead of moving all 3

Omg this is genius!! I could cry! I have accidentally cut my hair so many times because i hate having faux hair go past my shoulders 😩 this is so helpful in growing my natural hair in braids. Thank you!

Nall I braid to the scap if hair is long then crochet n plat it down ,burn n cut as i go so I dnt have to go back n cut it

If you look up bobby pin curls you’ll see. But with this it’s with hair and not the bobby pin. Very clever!

From my understanding she continuously wrapped the natural hair within the weave so that it shortened it til she could use the braiding hair alone

Yes she wrapped her real hair inside the weave then tied it at the ends then flat ironed it

So from my understanding it looks like shes only moving the natural hair over the weave to the right and under the weave to the left in a zig zag motion. Kind like when you lace your shoes but only move one side of the lace

Or another example is the infinite sign. Follow the motion with your finger that motion would be the natural hair going over the weave.

Yeah. You just keep wrapping the natural hair on the fake hair. It's looks difficult but very easy once you get the technique. A

Hey just wanted to ask what is zip braids about ? Like does it make your hair grow faster or what exactly does it do?

They are just a way for longer haired individuals to get short hair without having to cut their actual hair. It also lessens the chance of their hair being cut accidentally

hello no it's not. Spritz your hair with water then apply some shea butter or a leave in as you undo them and you're good
