Bob and folks like him,....are so much more interesting than 98 percent of the population. i would have rather met and talked to Bobs kind than the leaders of the world.
He was very cool. I played Guitar in his last Band . Unfortunately we never got a chance to play live. He could definitely tell a Story. Very humble and down to earth.
Thanks! I've always loved Skynard, it wasn't until I was older that I could appreciate all their talent and what separated them from all the rest of the bands of their time.
Wow man wattya say? Thanks to all these folks for being who they were. And thanx Tony for findin a way inside to preserve what you have. PLEASE give us more.. God bless
Thanks for posting this. This was the Bob I knew. I played at the Hell House 3 days a week and also wish there were old recordings. They were there at least 5 days a week. I remember that big warehouse fan. Never any air conditioning. We had to take our shirts off.
@@larryn2682 yeah but he was in the band at the height of their career in their prime handpicked by rvz , he is the closest thing we got to an original
Lol. Bob Burns was the drummer , Bob said Gary would get up there and play drums. What did Bob do , play bass or just listen and trip? He’s funny to listen to. I do give him credit for being an original member.
@@BCTGuitarPlayer even W-18 or what the media calls fentanyl. Although you need a very accurate pair of electronic balance scales from somewhere like Fischer Scientific capable of weighing things in the double digit microgram range. Decent ones start around $7k. What’s scary is you know the neighborhood dealers aren’t going to spring for that so they guesstimate. Hence all the deaths. It’s actually potent enough to apply to blotter paper. Although that isn’t the preferred ROA for those who do that.
What he said is so true they did a cover song by the cream (crossroads) on their live album they recorded in Atlanta Ga. that sounded better than the cream !!
@@pugilemoltobene3708 Yep I did truly trust Ed with the truth on Skynyrds happenings.... sure miss him ...gone to early and...well he sure as hell put up a good fight to the end...
@@TonyBeazley indeed, Tony! Well a lot of ppl keep his material alive by playing his work often, myself included; oh yeah, one HELL of a guitarist!!! Agree, gone at least 15/20yrs too soon!
