Bob Chilcott - Requiem 

I found my way here by a random listening of BBC Radio 3. Deep respect to all involved in this incredible performance. 💓

A beautifully composed Pie Jesu from Mr. Bob Chilcott a former Kings singer, and more accessible than the Andrew Lloyd Webber & Britten and as tuneful as the Karl Jenkins, Faure, Rutter & Maurice Durufle Requiem. Can hear a subtle jazz harmonic influences at times which me thinks works beautifully; adding a new colour when compared to the other requiems, kudos to you Bob! After hearing the requiem in full now it is all very beautiful, following in the style of Faure, Rutter and Durufle in the sense of the beautiful melodic lines and harmony, unlike say the War Requiem of Britten or John Fragndsen's lovely requiem written after the slauther in Oslo a few years back. Kudos to you Mr. Chilcot, a great work.

I was so blessed listening to this.

I will be singing this in May 2018 with the Plymouth Oratorio Society. This music is beautiful and gentle! Very good!
