***** That part when he said "Whats the possible justification for what we just saw?" and Vince goes "It's part of the storyline" Its like come on man you clearly manufactured it to give yourself an excuse to make out with the divas
but he goes on to explain how the women are strong willed and are totally fine doing the things they do and by the end of the storyline, they actually end up getting one over on vince. TBH he never questioned dodged, he was legit getting mad caused bob never let him finished and always tried to push his buttons. He even admitts in the clip that he was doing that. he would move up in his sit knowing full well that it made vince madder.
@@TheRealBizWiz no he didn't dumbfuck sitting there smiling cause you lack proper knowledge doesn't mean this reporter won the argument...and besides who TF is this fodder journalist anyway? He is fuckin irrelevant and needs and 18 year old footage if him with vince McMahon to be relevant
@@shehzadahmed6088 Guess we found out the "it's real to me damnit" guy's youtube name. FOH. Vince looked like the fuckn clown he is, all tho, not as much as you do defending him.

I find it hard to believe that Vince called him and wanted "a rematch". There's no way Vince would've thought he somehow "lost" in that interview. He struck down each of Bob's pathetic attempts to smear his company. Win by tone? Yeah right. You can't possibly think that you can just make ignorant and baseless arguments and win just because you do it with a calm tone.
+PeyserConley X He wanted a rematch becuz he was afraid the world would see him as an out of control bully (which he was) & It was all about trying to undo the damage to his image. Btw, this was not the only time he did that. Vince exploded at another reporter on HBO's Real Sports soon after this occurred. So you Mcmahon lovers out there might wanna think twice about pointing the finger at those big, bad, mean reporters who were only asking fair questions.

+Nick Kolakowski How was Costas owned by him? All Vince did was get up in Costas' face & look like a roided up major doucebag. If anybody won, it was Costas.
@@coolcat6303 you've obviously never seen the first time the sat down. Or you have no idea how a debate works. Even bob admits in this video you just watched that "if you read the transcript" he didn't win on paper. He is only arguing he kept his cool better than Vince and that somehow makes him a bigger man? He's as delusional as you are.
thepplschamp23 Yes, and Bob acknowledged that. He said Vince had the content and I agree as well. Vince said the right things, but Bob got the best of Vince by Vince letting a little shit like Bob Costas get under his skin. Vince had already won the exchange. It’s like as if you and I were here chatting it up and then all of a sudden one of us loses our self control and starts getting all fired up, lol. Which won’t happen obviously because you and I are cool like that! 👍
Vince acted beyond professional during this entire interview and even answered the toughest questions appropriately. Either way, it is definitely one of the best interviews I have ever seen. Bob got pwnd!
Costas was rude and unfair to Vince McMahon in the interview.Anybody who has watched it knows Costas came at Vince like a prosecutor and not like an unbiased journalist.Costas disgraced his profession that day.
Costas disgraces his profession every time a cameras on him. He's a total dick who tried to do an ambush piece. He's just pissed that Vince owned him and made him look like the bitch he is.
If that were true, why not ask yourself why Vince said you won, I want a rematch. He acted like an ass and acknowledged it. He was triggered and couldn't keep composed. Costas was triggered too but remained professional
@@HenryDube72 then he should have tried that grace & humility during the actual interview when he was crumbling like a cookie when presented with non-kayfabe questions imo
exactly, he himself admitted he hated how wrestling changed to the attitude era unlike the wwe he used to watch as a kid, he deserve every bit of it. I cracked up when after all that he still term Owen's Hart accident as being killed lmao, that seems like comedy to that point.
mskidi You’re not paying attention. Listen carefully to what he said at the end. He said if he prevailed it was not on content. Vince got all emotional. The one who gets triggered and emotional always loses, and Bob sat there and laughed as Vince get all worked up. Lol
@@TheRealBizWiz yes but just because he said that doesnt make it true lol. Those questions were absolutely setup in a classless way to start a fight with Vince. Bob was on the attack the whole time.
lol ... won on tone?? .. he's a billionaire 12 years after this, everything he did prior, during and after the interview was winning ... you lost Bob, that's what you do.
chopper8666 The one who gets triggered and emotional always loses, and Bob sat there and laughed as Vince get all worked up. Lol - also he did whip child molester Jerry Sandusky’s ass. Anyone who does that is alright in my book.
Notice he does admit that Mcmahon beat him up on content in regards to his answers to Costas' questions, but Bob also remarks that he might have come out looking a bit better based on his calm demeanor where Vince was up in his grill. lol Still, if you see the interview Vince did fine and pointed out how Costas was taking footage and quotes out of context trying to smear wrestling and the WWE at the time.
Dnt see how Bob won....the whole interview was him asking questions he couldn't follow up on bcz he didnt know anything about the material. I dont know how many times Vince had to tell him to do his research lol. Guess Vince was just trying to patch things up
all i can say is "who is bob costas and what does he do for a living" because im pretty sure vince and his wrestlers do alot more and entertain alot more people. he is extremely arrogant and thinks he can just dismiss whatever he likes, some people are like that i guess, sickening attitude towards others, and bringing up owen harts death? which was from a VERY SIMPLE abseil down to the ring gone wrong, is hardly vinces fault, it was done for about 5 years or more in WCW and never went wrong, shawn michaels wrestlemania entrance on the zip line was great, its a show, thats all, and sometimes like any show things go wrong
What a one sided joke, but I'm not even going to waste my time with this little addition to those two's typical condescending, moral high ground garbage considering CNN barely draws in viewers anymore and Morgan is so irrelevant and hated he lost his show. Joke's on them.
LOL he claims Vince told him that he won.. Anyone that knows Vince would say he is way too competitive to admit that to anyone. And BTW Bob got his ass whipped.. I recall listening to all the local sports talk at that time. Caller to caller were all saying that Vince clowned him..
Check out the interview. Costas was an ass and the entire interview was an attack. Regardless what you think of wrestling, Vince was right to be angry and refuted the constant accusations and put downs with perfectly reasoned arguments. It's fine if you don't like wrestling, but don't preach to those who do.
From the bob costas interview they got an excerpt of footage of vince mcmahon which made him look bad, and in the interview itself, they used only an excerpt of footage of vince mcmahon's character in wwf which made him look bad. How many layers is this.
I believe Vince was just being competitive and he was trying to bully and rattle Costas into backing down and Costas stayed composed and stood his ground. And Vince was trying to make good TV by being confrontational...he's a showman.
I still don’t get what Costa’s problem was with the attitude era. The show was not PG it was a blend of Jerry Springer and pro wrestling. Any individual who found it distasteful was free to change the channel. It’s because of individuals like Costa we are moving towards a strict PC society and its stiffing free speech.
I hate people when they say wrestling is fake and why people still watch it. First of all, wrestling fans know its scripted, its the storylines and characters that make it. Wrestlers are trained to do the moves and take the hit. But when people say they are just fake nothing hurts that's where problem is, pro wrestling hurts and it's a fact
And remember, getting into the wrestling business is not easy. There is only one person out of a hundred that makes it in the wrestling business. That's it. The other 99 people who don't make it end up becoming doctors, teachers, attorneys, firefighters, insurance salesmen, whatever. So there is a very slim chance that you will make it in the wrestling business. And even if you do make it in the wrestling business, it could take you as many as nine or ten tries until you finally do get into the business. Pro Wrestling is a very tough business. It is not for everybody. That is the truth.
Time Traveler Time Traveler, do you think it really is very difficult for someone to get into the wrestling business, especially since there are a lot of egomaniacs that you would have to be willing to deal with ?
You can call it shit and yes it does not have as big star power anymore. But its a billion dollar company that makes more money than ever now. Companies don't care what you think aslong as they get money. WWE will never die and its product doesn't suck. If it did it wouldn't be a worldwide billion dollar company. Haters eat shit.
@Edgehead10075 I wholeheartedly agree , even a year later . Even if we got to see Alexa bliss almost naked fighting 2 dudes with chairs , it still wouldn't be good because of the shit writing and the lack of star power
I don't like wrestling in the least but bob was wrong a lot during the interview. If u watch it bob criticizes Vince about the violence in wrestling and how it's a bad example for kids. Well I think football is also pretty violent also and he came off as a hypocritical snob
He asked questions completely out of context. Like when he asked if Vince would consider changing the way wrestlers perform after Owen Hart died. Owen passed on a fluke of an accident that had norhing to do with the physicality of wrestling.
I love Vince, & the WWE, but he didn't "win" the interview. Don't ask me how, watch the interview again and again. If you still don't know how, idk what to tell you.
I lost a lot of respect for Bob after this interview. Very classless. Considering, Vince did pretty good responding. I get it controversy makes money, but very chicken ...t of him to try n start a fight on purpose knowing Vince wasnt going to hit him.
