Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RU-vid, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RU-vid. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RU-vid, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

About his wife,she was actually in the studio when he recorded it. He sang it to her,but was to late by then to save his marriage.

Bob's separation and eventual divorce from his wife, Sara, caused him a lot of pain. Listen to his song "If You See Her, Say Hello". But later, he put out a song called "Idiot Wind" when he apparently was in a whole different frame of mind about the break-up. And, by the way, I believe "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" is about 11 minutes long, if memory serves. Nice reaction.

Sara was present at the studio recording and listened "from the other side of the glass" as Dylan played the song. According to Larry Sloman, Dylan turned to Sara just before beginning the song, and stated, "This one's for you."

His 1st Wife Sara inspired several songs (".. staying up for days in the Chelsea Hotel writing "Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands" for you") - but not as many as his 1st love, Suze Rotolo -- Checkout "Boots Of Spanish Leather" - "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" - "One Too Many Mornings" - etc ...

"Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" is one of the best songs ever written (though you could say that about a lot of Dylan's songs) I believe Dylan, says he wrote it over 3 days in the Chelsey Hotel- (after taking the cure and just getting through) I think a song you'd like that has some great story-telling is "Joey".

Prior to marrying Dylan, Sarah's last name was Lowndes, thus "Sad -eyed Lady of the Lowlands.

Dylan and Sara had 4 children, and he adopted her daughter Sara had from previous marriage.

Lester Bangs was a rock critic in the '70s. He was most known for having immediate, negative and ridiculous criticisms of great music and artists, many of which he had to backtrack from later. People like him make me want to add a line to an old saying - Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. And, those who can't do or teach become critics. Now, that is way too harsh and unfair to teachers and their great value. But, it is not harsh enough on critics.

What a tremendous song from a brilliant album probably his best work along with 'Blood on the tracks' this song is personal, written about the love of his life and the loss of his children with Sara he tried to fix the relationship but ultimately failed. there is not a bad track on this album, co written with Jacques Levy and some wonderful violin from a lady he just bumped into on the street, this is up there with 'Deja Vu' and the CSNY first album which you have also dipped into all I can say is someone must be feeding you information about the great albums to revue, so next dip into 'A trick of the tail' by Genesis or any of their early albums with Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett you will not be disappointed!
