If you get this 11 years later, then stop being lost. It’s that simple God gives us free will and we can choose to follow Jesus Christ or choose to wander around apart from Him. Choose (even when it’s tough and the flesh doesn’t like it) to read the Bible and obey. Listen to strong solid hymns and other Christ honoring music like this, and order your steps along the path of Jesus Christ. Pray every day for wisdom and trust God is giving it. Get back into the gospels. I’m praying for you.

Dad was a pastor. Mom and Dad listened to this song a lot! Brings back memories of a different life. I’ve gotten to see how my parents lives have been transformed by God from struggling to make ends meet to being really well off. God keeps working miracles some long some short sometimes many at once. We praise Him because He is worthy of our praise. I used to sing the first verse of this to my wife, the sister who loaned me this tape in, I think, early '88. She was my best friend and prayer partner back then, eventually becoming my wife. Almost 20 years ago she began turning from the Lord. Now she blames me for what that has cost her. So... The song that once brought us such joy as Isaiah 62:5 speaks of, a bridegroom rejoicing over my Bride... Now I can only cry... And remember that my tears, my torn heart, aren't because my wonderful Father ordained it to be so. She made a choice, one that divided our home... So now I visit her in her assisted living home... And wait for the day that one of us goes to heaven so I can be free.
