Wherever i listen to his songs God is revealed to me in a new way. Every thing in the music is divine the beats are not copied anywhere on earth.

So true. Worship songs that bring the Word to light in a deeper dimension and refreshes the soul. Many of today’s so-called worship songs just focus on the singer and not The Word so they don’t have any impact on the soul. Many musicians but not many true worshipers. Mercy oh God!!

That's very true, the church has lost the sense of true worship, songs of healing and deliverance. The church no longer minister's to God, people just want to jump. We really need God.
I purchased this CD a few years ago. I believe it is the greatest worship recording. Several of the songs became very popular worship songs in many churches !

I went looking for Hiding Place. Originally, I heard this song years and years ago, growing up. It was on a cassette player... if you can remember that long ago. I thought about bringing this song back in our worship song list, and tweaking it a little bit. But, the fact of the matter is this: People sang differently back then. They ministered to God together, like a choir. Today, we have a 'leader' who starts a bunch of solo-style songs that everyone's supposed to stay quiet in for the first verse and chorus, and THEN we can join in. I don't want to ruin this song by making it anything that it's not.. It's NOT supposed to be a anything but a song sang together from the heart... How can I achieve that nowadays? People just think that's 'old'; and use Christianese sayings like 'God is doing a new thing'... and He is. But, in my opinion, throughout the Word, God always wanted His people to remember what He did for them in times of old. A song does this wonderfully... which is why Israel HAD these songs after crossing the Red Sea.. to remember the works of old. I think the church could use a healthy dose of 'remember what you were delivered from, and remember what God did for you?'
Oh, amen and amen! We need this beautiful worship brought back! We need to sing and worship corporately, where everyone joins is grateful, glorious worship, our hearts and voices blending in joyous praise to our God. Everyone can sing this!
I first heard this song at a Calvary Chapel Church in 1980. We sang it in a round between the men and women, like it it is played here. Jeff Johnson was the pastor at the time, he may still be, we've moved since then. Still in California though, under the tyrannical order of our current governor! 😟 Maranatha!

This is what I listened to when I came to The Lord in 1985 when I was 19 yrs old. Now Im 44 and been with Him longer than I wasnt. Its still anointed heart melting, soothing music.
I was born in 1985, this cassette tape played loud in my childhood home especially on Sundays, and I feel this is what the Lord used to first draw me near to Him! So anointed and intimate with Jesus. We love you Jesus lover of our souls! ❤
The Integrity Music albums, most live that started in the late 90's were the absolute greatest praise and worship songs ever. I have over 500 songs from these albums on Spotify and nothing blesses my heart more than listening to these songs. The church today has lost it's true praise and worship. I miss those old church days but my heart still gets blessed with this music. Nothing like it.
I agree! To me, if it can't usher us into the Throne Room of God, then it's just not worship music. I love this kind kind of pure, heart-felt music that brings us to Him, and blesses His heart, and changes us. Praise GOD! :-)

These songs take me back to Jos. So many good memories. I remember Naraguta Campus, UniJos. I remember Zoe Christian Centre now The Parliament, I remember The Oasis of Love, the sweet Christmas seasons, and the amazing Jos weather.
What happened to praising God this way in these days? I just can't get enough of this worship and praise after such a long time. My aunt would play this music and it's never left my memory. Parents your children will always remember...make their childhood memories precious .Thank you latinoboyino..
This kind of music really shows me how to enter in to the glory of the lord, year ago we will meet up every 3 Friday and have high praise and worship from 8pm to 8am in the morning.

I love this music! It is so soothing and glorifies God in the right way. That contemporary music is not worship music at all! Worship music suppose to glorify God and lift him up and all contemporary does is brings glory to the one playing it. That's not right were suppose to honour and edify and build up the most High God and his Son Jesus because they are soooooooo WORTHY!!!!!

Not all contemporary music is the same. Didn't the Lord said "sing to me a new song ? " let God be the judge of the new artists and many are truly anointed worshippers who have the gift to usher in God's presence. Check youtube. And do not get me wrong!! I truly love hosanna music and the first 10 years of my Christian life they carried me to the throne room, and they still do. But new artists c an do that too, just differently and I believe God is honored just the same because he looks at the heart.
Amen. It takes spiritual discernment but what Christian can't discern the Holy Spirit? Evidently many can't. God is using this younger generation of worshipers to bring people into the presence of God like this music did in the 80's and 90's. There were many who didn't think this music was of the Lord either
@@EMELINETHERMIDOR Can't argue with that at all. We had hymns, these songs and more modern ones,but in my view, you can't beat songs based on scripture. Think that's hard to beat, but hey, yes, let God be the judge and you're right, He looks upon the heart.

This is pure worship! Thank you Mr. Kent and Mr. Kenoli for not compromising in worship. The church needs to go back to their FIRST love and get all the hate out their heart. Stop picking and choosing what parts of the Bible you’re going to adhere to. ALL of God’s Word is Truth!
