Bob Hope and WWII: Theaters of War (Part 2 of 6) 

What drove a successful entertainer like Bob Hope to perform for the troops? Perhaps it was the unique challenge it presented: Could he make them laugh? The second clip in our video series looks at Hope's journeys across the globe during World War II as he brought some humor and a reminder of home to the battlefront.
