I man hear Tyrone a bad-up mi brethren Munchie... Munchie Jackson was a producer and was shot to death by his son in New York about 1990 or thereabouts. Munchie also produced a lot of music on the Lloyd Barnes, "Bullwackie" label. Just a bit of trivia for those who don't know.

Yes Jay I have to agree with you on that statement, I play a little bass myself, that's the first instrument I first ever played, then I started learning lead and riddim, as time went on I bought myself a SR 16 drum machine then before I knew it i had a little 4 track set up and started learning keyboard all this took time.. and even now I'm still surprised of the things I do, the inspiration/ expression that comes from within. Music is definitely a spiritual language capable of reaching and uniting the 🌎 world.

So many have tried to imitate Carlton’s style of drumming but no one I mean no one not his nephew no one gets his timing it has a swing as if he was playing hand percussion.

it's one of the most impossible time feel and sound to extract from a drum set ever. No jazz drummer can do that, no rock drummer, no one. Not even other reggae drummer like Horsemouth, Sly. No one man. It's just too unique, tied to his own body feel somehow. Legend
