Came home from a little self guided geology loop tour of the Malaga Slide to find this little gem waiting for me. What I love about these interviews is not only the knowledge that I gain from them, but also the realization that there is so much more to yet be learned and discovered by the geologists. While it would be nice to have a neat and tidy story we can tell ourselves, so often here in our geologically diverse little corner of the world we have to be content with paragraphs, and sometimes chapters, but the entire story remains outside our current grasp. Thank you for these geologist interviews and I hope you will make them an ongoing feature within your new format, and thank you Bob Miller for this cozy campfire session.
Nice to see Bob encouraging up and coming geologists to commit to areas that were worked decades ago to find questions and answers that were not even dreamed of back in the day. Nobody today is NOT standing on the shoulders of those who went before them.
