I really like him. He seems so gentle and kind and naturally funny. No airs or graces. His stories which seem to always be true on WILTY are side splitingly funny.

Nupper it easily could’ve been, but I was just jokingly rebutting the idea of a stranger “really (liking)” an entertainment personality based on their performances. Nice association though. Clever.

eclipsewrecker I mean it wasn’t really a joke, you just said something very basically inflammatory for attention. There’s nothing inherently funny about contrasting stuff, you have to take it into an absurd position.

Budus Busham it was really a joke. It might not be funny. I won’t defend the humor or quality, but it is what was intended just as it is what was inferred. You probably shouldn’t assume so much. “For attention?” Yeah, in some ways and not in other ways. Your reply is for attention too. It might only be for my attention, but attention none the less. The original comment, as common a position as it is, is still absurd. To rebut with my own absurdity is fitting. To expect others to get the joke or find it funny is an expectation I did not have.

Fuji by itself means a spun silk clothing fabric in plain weave. Quite different to Fuji-9.

You know, his teeth look awfully good for someone who does his own dentistry. And I wonder if he still keeps up with his old friend Gentle Ken and Billy the Pigeon, or if he ever feels the need to play Theft and Shrubbery one more time just for old time's sake. Anyway, he seems like such a humble and unassuming guy and I'm so glad he overcame all that he's faced in life and has become this successful person. Cheers, Bob Mortimer.

People at work, in the queue at Tescos or down at the old B&M must be tired of me laughing away to myself like an old Alzheimers patient. The fear of been locked up makes me advertise Athletico Mince more than anything. "Fat, bald and Northern. A Poundland James Corden. (Some git from Sunderland) ⭐⭐ I rarely watch terrestrial TV as there's so much good viewing to be had on Prime or Netflix but I honestly put a notice in my calendar over Xmas when Bobby was on Would I Lie To You. There's a fine line etc,etc The Q series was like the Monty Python TV shows, some of it was incredibly funny, some of it was just bizarre and quite a lot of it didn't work at all - but the creativity was off the charts.

@@Veaseify Totally agree with you, there were many things that were good and bad with Monty Python, and Spike. When they got it right it was so right. I remember the first time I watched Vic & Bob, and I really didn't know what to make of it, but I let it 'infect' me, and then I was hooked.

If people stopped and thought don't agonise over your words cross the scope it should be be don't agonise over words full stop. People are programmed to these days over think and take words literally trying to create or find a reason to find a fault , and seems even the greatest comedy actors get labeled or don't get cast anymore. Seems there's no true banter anymore we once had it in between races from right and left. And these days it's worrying worries.

I would love to share a packet of Tittybiscuits with Bob n' Vic one day, maybe at the Keswick museum museum cafe, where we can go on a tour of museums through the ages, whilst seeing who can be the most juvenile. Ohhhh just the thought of it.
